Business Systems Analyst – Workday Talent & Recruiting

At Resmed, we're looking for a talented professional to play a key role in supporting and enhancing our global talent technology ecosystem. This role will be instrumental in a major Workday–Phenom transformation initiative, partnering closely with business stakeholders and global teams to improve how talent processes are delivered, adopted, and optimized across the organization.
As part of the IT Applications team, you'll bring strong expertise in Workday Recruiting, Workday Talent, and enterprise application delivery to help drive business outcomes. This is an opportunity to work on a strategic global project, contribute meaningful improvements, and collaborate with colleagues across multiple regions.
This role requires collaboration with global teams and may involve flexibility outside standard business hours to support a US-based project.
What You'll Do
- Support and enhance enterprise-wide applications that enable talent acquisition and talent management processes.
- Contribute to a global Workday–Phenom project, helping to improve system capabilities, user experience, and business outcomes.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical application solutions.
- Design, develop, configure, test, and implement enhancements within Workday Talent and Workday Recruiting.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, system administrators, and project partners across multiple regions.
- Build and maintain reports using Workday reporting and query tools to support business decision-making.
- Recommend improvements to application functionality, processes, governance, and system standards.
- Configure application access and support user enablement through training and guidance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues while ensuring solutions align with quality and performance expectations.
- Participate in project planning, requirements gathering, testing, deployment, and change management activities.
- Lead or contribute to cross-functional project initiatives and drive successful project outcomes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, scalability, and user adoption across talent systems.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience working with Workday applications, particularly Workday Recruiting and Workday Talent.
- Hands-on involvement in a Workday–Phenom implementation or integration project.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and deliver practical application solutions.
- Experience supporting enterprise application design, development, testing, and deployment activities.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment when navigating ambiguity.
- A project-oriented approach focused on outcomes, delivery, and continuous improvement.
