About the Role
You will play a key role in ensuring both the visual quality and functional integrity of deliverables before release, with a strong focus on video content. You’ll work across design, content, and development stages to make sure every asset—especially AI-generated videos for social media—is visually seamless, correctly paced, perfectly synced, and strictly on-brand. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, collaborative, and proactive professional who can spot motion inconsistencies, validate audio-visual synchronization, and help improve the overall quality of our digital outputs.
Responsibilities:
- You will be part of a dedicated project team for one of our biggest clients, focusing heavily on social media content.
- Take full QA ownership and authority across assigned projects, formulate baseline testing strategies and communicate effectively with fellow Monks.
- Manage tight deadlines, prioritize under pressure, and maintain focus on critical project deliverables.
- Review and QA AI-generated videos, animations, edits, and static designs for visual consistency, smooth transitions, copy accuracy, and adherence to strict branding and social media platform specifications.
- Carefully assess voice and audio synchronization (lip-syncing is key!), ensuring that AI-generated voiceovers and character motions feel natural and perfectly aligned.
- As a QA Monk at our assets division, use your eagle eye to detect common AI-generation anomalies (e.g., morphing, glitches, unnatural movements) and ensure the correct execution of templated assets.
- Provide detailed, constructive feedback to creative and prompt-engineering teams, acting as the final checkpoint before public release.
- Use Jira, as a project management tool to document, track, and report visual or audio inconsistencies, ensuring timely resolution. And use Google Drive apps to create and organize documents.
- Maintain accurate, insightful QA documentation to track trends (especially regarding AI video outputs) and guide workflow improvements.
- Collaborate with producers, designers, and video editors to ensure the highest creative standards are met in a fast-paced environment.
- Help better integrate quality assurance into the overall production process, making sure QA methods are fine-tuned to our teams and workloads.
About You
The essentials:
- You have 2–4 years of hands-on QA experience managing digital assets at scale (with a strong emphasis on video production), thrive in fast-paced environments, and bring your best self to work every day.
- A strong eye (and ear) for video pacing, motion, audio-visual sync, and visual design—including layout, spacing, and composition.
- Experience using native video review and editing tools (e.g., Frame.io, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects), while maintaining working proficiency in Figma for static design reviews.
