YOUR CONTRIBUTION MAKES A POSITIVE IMPACT

Reporting to the Director, Governance, Compliance and Risk Management, you will contribute to supplier and procurement contract management. You will collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to monitor agreements, manage costs and risks, and support the organization’s needs.

• Coordinate activities related to the preparation, review, negotiation, execution, renewal, and documentation of supplier contracts.
• Lead negotiations related to renewals, licences, service levels, and commercial terms.
• Conduct an initial review of contracts, identify business, compliance, security, or cost issues, and coordinate the required follow-ups.
• Contribute to calls for tenders, requests for proposals, and requests for information, from defining requirements through documenting recommendations.
• Monitor contractual obligations, risks, compliance, and supplier performance.
• Develop and maintain metrics, dashboards, and analyses related to spending, renewals, savings, and optimization opportunities.
• Contribute to improving contract management and procurement policies, processes, tools, and practices.
• Advise internal teams on procurement, contract management, and supplier relations.
• Contribute to financial forecasting, track supplier commitments, and identify opportunities to optimize spending.

THE SKILLS THAT WILL MAKE YOU A KEY MEMBER OF OUR TEAM

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, law, finance, procurement, operations management, contract management, or compliance.
• At least five years of relevant experience in procurement, contract management, supplier management, renewals, licences, commercial negotiations, or calls for tenders.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English. Proficiency in English is required to communicate with English-speaking suppliers and partners located outside Quebec and to review, negotiate, and administer contracts and documentation written in English.
• Sound business judgment, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to understand and analyze commercial contracts.
• Ability to engage various stakeholders and coordinate matters involving teams such as IT, Security, Finance, and Corporate Affairs.
• Proficiency in Excel, document management tools, and tracking logs.
• Any relevant combination of education and experience may be considered.
