As Treasurer – EMEA Markets, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient management of liquidity across multiple jurisdictions, supporting high-volume payment operations and enabling business growth. You will work closely with global Treasury, Operations, Product and Technology teams to optimise funding, manage financial risk, drive automation and continuously improve treasury processes in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
What You Will Be Responsible For
Manage daily liquidity positions and cash balances across multiple currencies and jurisdictions.
Prepare, maintain and analyze daily cash flow forecasts for assigned markets.
Support the payouts team by ensuring adequate funding across assigned markets while optimizing the utilization of global liquidity. Identify potential funding gaps and proactively execute funding strategies to minimize operational risk.
Ensure sufficient liquidity to meet operational, regulatory and commercial requirements.
Support surplus cash management to maximize returns while maintaining appropriate risk controls.
Execute and oversee timely and accurate merchant, vendor and intercompany settlements.
Perform treasury transactions using multiple banking platforms and payment systems.
Perform and evidence required SOX controls and treasury governance procedures.
Ensure treasury activities are executed in accordance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and audit standards.
Monitor foreign exchange exposures and support FX execution across assigned markets.
Identify opportunities to automate, simplify and scale treasury processes using technology, data and AI.
Drive continuous process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, scalability and control.
Support treasury-related systems implementations, integrations and optimization initiatives.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or a related discipline (Essential).
4–7 years' treasury experience within banking, fintech or financial services.
Experience managing liquidity across multiple currencies and jurisdictions.
Experience supporting high-volume payment operations and cross-border payment flows.
Experience within a multinational organisation (Advantageous).
Experience within a fintech or payments environment (Highly Advantageous).
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
Strong understanding of liquidity management, cash forecasting and treasury operations.
Knowledge of foreign exchange markets, currency exposure management and FX settlement processes.
Experience using multiple banking platforms and payment portals.
Experience with Treasury Management Systems (Kyriba, FIS, GTreasury or similar) is advantageous.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and operational excellence.
Strong process orientation with a continuous improvement mindset.
