About the role:
As a Trainee in Sales, you will support our Sales team in driving fundcraft’s growth and expanding our footprint within the asset management industry. This role offers hands-on exposure to B2B enterprise sales, market research, and pipeline management, giving you a comprehensive foundation in commercial strategy and client acquisition.
In this position, you will assist the sales leadership with lead generation, preparation of pitch materials, CRM management, and cross-functional alignment with our marketing partners. You will play an active role in researching target markets, qualifying prospective clients, and helping streamline the overall sales cycle from outreach to onboarding.
This position is based in Girona and reports directly to our Sales Directors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Sales Directors in researching target prospects, identifying key decision-makers, and building qualified lead lists within the asset management industry.
- Support the preparation of pitch decks, client proposals, and customized sales presentations for prospective client meetings.
- Maintain and update data accuracy in our CRM system, tracking deals through the sales pipeline and assisting with sales reporting.
- Help coordinate follow-ups with leads, supporting outreach campaigns in collaboration with our marketing partners.
- Work closely with internal teams (including Pre-Sales, Marketing, and Product) to gather necessary information for client proposals andRFPs.
- Monitor industry trends, market news, and competitor activity to provide actionable insights to the sales team.
- Support general commercial administration and ad-hoc sales projects as assigned by the Sales Directors.
Requirements
Skills & Expected Behaviours:
- Recent graduate or final-year student in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong interest in B2B sales, commercial strategy, and the asset management/fintech sector.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
- High level of proficiency in English (other European languages are a plus).
- Tech-savvy with an eagerness to learn CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales intelligence technologies.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple supporting tasks efficiently.
- Proactive attitude, strong curiosity, and a desire to learn from experienced commercial leaders.
