The Role

We're looking for a Manager of Test Engineering to develop and industrialize the test solutions required to support OLIX's next-generation AI computing solution. You'll own manufacturing test strategy, test architecture, equipment, automation, and test processes across component, subsystem, and final product test, ensuring scalable test capability that meets quality, coverage, cycle time, and cost objectives from NPI through high-volume manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

Develop manufacturing test strategy: Define the end-to-end manufacturing test strategy, architecture, coverage, and requirements across component, subsystem, and final product test.

Develop and qualify test solutions: Design, integrate, validate, and qualify test equipment, fixtures, instrumentation, software, and automation required for production.

Deliver production test readiness: Partner with Engineering, NPI, Quality, Industrial Engineering, and manufacturing partners to develop test processes and ensure test capability is ready for manufacturing launch.

Optimize test performance: Improve test coverage, repeatability, throughput, cycle time, yield, and cost while reducing false failures and unnecessary test content.

Scale test manufacturing capability: Deploy, qualify, and sustain test solutions with manufacturing partners to support production ramp and high-volume manufacturing.

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Optical Engineering, or related technical discipline.

• 15+ years of engineering leadership experience in Test Engineering, Manufacturing Test, or Product Test within semiconductor, photonics, electronics, or advanced computing, including at least five years leading teams.

• Subject matter expertise in manufacturing test architecture, test equipment, instrumentation, fixtures, automation, and test software.

• Experience developing and qualifying test solutions for complex electrical, optical, and high-speed products from NPI through high-volume manufacturing.

• Proven success optimizing test coverage, yield, throughput, cycle time, repeatability, and cost.

• Experience developing automated test systems and analyzing test data to identify failures, improve test capability, and drive manufacturing performance.

• Proven ability to partner with contract manufacturers to deploy, qualify, and scale production test capability.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence executive stakeholders and build high-performing teams.

Nice to Have

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Optical Engineering, or another advanced technical discipline.

• Experience with high-speed electrical interconnect, optical interconnect, photonics, or advanced AI compute hardware.

• Six Sigma or other advanced continuous improvement certification.
