Job Duties: The Tech Lead Manager oversees technical direction and project execution within the
engineering team. They combine strong hands-on software expertise with effective cross-functional
collaboration, leading and mentoring engineers to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Responsibilities:
1. Set technical objectives and priorities aligned with company goals and roadmap.
2. Partner with Product, Design, and stakeholders to define requirements, timelines, and
deliverables.
3. Own architecture and implementation to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
4. Run code reviews and enforce engineering best practices.
5. Reduce technical debt and improve development processes.
6. Track industry trends and recommend adoption where relevant.
7. Build a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
8. Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Tech stack: Go, Python, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, ORMs, Redis, Elasticsearch, S3/object storage,
REST APIs, gRPC, AWS/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes.
Minimum Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in Software Development, Computer Science,
Software Engineering, a closely related field, or a foreign degree equivalent.
Minimum Employment Experience Required: 5 years of experience in the job offered, or similar
software engineering position owning AI data workflows from raw ingestion through production-level
models.
Skillset requirements: 5 years owning AI data workflows from raw data ingestion through production-
level models, including building and managing data-heavy systems used for AI or advanced analytics,
must also include the following:
1. 4 years of experience at fintech startups within the investment space.
2. 3 years of experience leading teams to build core software products while staying technical,
including buy-side or market data platforms.
3. 1 year with AI coding assistants (Cursor, Claude Code, or similar)
4. Experience with Golang or Python
5. Experience with LLM systems, reasoning engines, or knowledge graphs.
Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: $193,461 to $205,000 per year
