DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. The Bucharest Technology Centre delivers global technology products and plays a key role in the Bank’s transformation journey.

Global Procurement provides end-to-end strategic sourcing, category management and Source-to-Pay operations. This role leads a team delivering tactical sourcing, operational sourcing support and tail spend management across all categories, ensuring efficient, compliant and scalable procurement execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of sourcing professionals delivering tactical sourcing, sourcing support and tail-spend management activities.
• Drive end-to-end execution of tactical sourcing processes ensuring compliance with procurement policies and achievement of SLA/KPI/KRI targets.
• Execute vendor selection and negotiation for low-to-medium complexity sourcing events
• Oversee operational sourcing support activities including RFx execution, Sourcing controls and support with supplier onboarding, ensuring achievement of SLA/KPI/KRI targets
• Manage and optimize tail-spend through consolidation, standardization and other initiatives.
• Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement of sourcing delivery processes.
• Support development and implementation of procurement processes, tools and automation.
• Collaborate with category managers and stakeholders to ensure alignment with sourcing strategies.
• Drive stakeholder satisfaction and maintain strong internal relationships.
• Promote a high-performance culture focused on operational excellence.

Skills

• Strong experience in procurement, sourcing and supplier management.
• Proven team leadership and people management capabilities.
• Experience in tactical sourcing, RFx processes and operational procurement.
• Experience in managing high-volume sourcing or tail spend environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Understanding of Source-to-Pay processes and procurement systems.
• Experience with process automation tools (RPA, workflow tools) and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of AI-enabled procurement tools (e.g. analytics, contract analysis, supplier insights) and ability to leverage data for decision-making.
• Analytical mindset with ability to identify efficiency and cost optimization opportunities. Excellent communication skills, fluent in English (written and verbal). Proficiency in another language is a plus
• High energy, with the ability to work in a fast-paced business environment

Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
