enior SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting & General Ledger Lead (P4)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP S/4HANA Finance Consultant (P4) with deep expertise in Group Reporting, Financial Consolidation, Record-to-Report (R2R), and General Ledger processes. This role will lead the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of SAP S/4HANA Finance capabilities, ensuring standardized global financial reporting, compliance, and close processes across multiple legal entities.

The individual will act as a strategic partner to Finance, Controlling, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and IT teams while driving best practices for consolidation, financial close, intercompany accounting, and external reporting.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Group Reporting & Consolidation

• Lead design and deployment of SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting.
• Define and maintain consolidation units, consolidation groups, FS items, and reporting structures.
• Design ownership management, eliminations, currency translation, and consolidation processes.
• Implement intercompany reconciliation, matching, and elimination requirements.
• Support legal and management consolidation reporting across global entities.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Drive month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close optimization.

General Ledger & Financial Accounting

• Lead global GL process design and governance.
• Configure and support: Universal Journal (ACDOCA)Document SplittingParallel AccountingMultiple LedgersProfit Center AccountingSegment ReportingFinancial Statement VersionsAccount DeterminationAllocation Processes
• Design end-to-end financial close and reconciliation processes.
• Support chart of accounts harmonization and finance master data governance.

Financial Close & Reporting

• Improve financial close efficiency and automation.
• Partner with Corporate Accounting teams to establish close procedures and controls.
• Design and validate external and management reporting requirements.
• Enable real-time reporting leveraging S/4HANA embedded analytics and Fiori applications.

S/4HANA Transformation Leadership

• Participate in Fit-Gap analysis, solution architecture, and blueprinting workshops.
• Challenge and simplify legacy ECC processes.
• Lead finance design decisions and integration across SAP modules.
• Support testing, cutover, data migration, and hypercare activities.
• Provide solution recommendations aligned with SAP standard best practices.

Integration & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with: Controlling (CO)TaxTreasuryProcurementOrder-to-CashManufacturingData & Analytics teams
• Ensure smooth integration between Group Reporting, GL, CO, Fixed Assets, and Material Ledger.
• Support boundary application integration and financial data reconciliation activities.

Governance & Leadership

• Mentor junior consultants and business analysts.
• Review solution designs and configuration quality.
• Drive issue resolution with business and technical stakeholders.
• Support executive steering committee updates and key decision discussions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
• 10+ years of SAP Finance experience.
• Minimum 3 full lifecycle SAP implementations.
• Minimum 2 implementations involving SAP Group Reporting.
• Strong expertise in: SAP S/4HANA FinanceGeneral LedgerGroup ReportingFinancial CloseIntercompany AccountingConsolidationParallel LedgersDocument SplittingProfit Center Accounting
• Deep understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA, CMA, CA, or equivalent accounting certification.
• Experience in semiconductor or manufacturing industries.
• SAP S/4HANA Finance certification.
• Knowledge of: BlackLineOneStreamBPCSnowflake ReportingSAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)Central Finance
• Experience supporting global multinational organizations. Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness,exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.
• Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabledenhancements within one’s scope of work.
