Senior Product Manager, Product-Led Growth (PLG)
About the Team
Klaviyo's Growth, Billing & Monetization team is responsible for making it easier for businesses to discover, adopt, and grow with Klaviyo. We build the product experiences that connect customer value to sustainable business growth, spanning onboarding, activation, self-service purchasing, subscriptions, billing, and monetization.
As Klaviyo continues to expand its platform and introduce new products and AI-powered capabilities, our team plays a critical role in helping customers realize value quickly, understand the full breadth of what Klaviyo offers, and seamlessly grow their investment over time.
We believe the best growth strategies are built into the product itself. By combining customer empathy, thoughtful design, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making, we create intuitive experiences that drive adoption, conversion, retention, and long-term customer success.
About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to help define and accelerate Klaviyo's product-led growth strategy, with a focus on creating seamless, high-converting customer experiences across the entire product lifecycle.
This role sits at the intersection of product experience, growth, and monetization. You'll own key initiatives that help customers move from initial signup to activation, discover and adopt additional capabilities, and expand their relationship with Klaviyo through intuitive self-service experiences.
This isn't just about optimizing conversion funnels or running experiments. We're looking for someone who understands that sustainable growth comes from delivering meaningful customer value, removing friction, and building experiences that make it easy for customers to get started, see results, and grow.
You'll partner closely with engineering, design, analytics, marketing, finance, and go-to-market teams to identify growth opportunities, shape product strategy, and deliver measurable business impact. You'll have the opportunity to influence how Klaviyo scales its self-service business while supporting an increasingly sophisticated product portfolio and customer base.
How You'll Make a Difference
- Own key product-led growth initiatives across the customer lifecycle, including signup, onboarding, activation, conversion, retention, and expansion, with a focus on improving customer experience and driving measurable business outcomes.
- Optimize the self-service customer journey by identifying and removing friction across product discovery, account setup, trial experiences, purchasing, and upgrades.
- Accelerate time to value by building intuitive onboarding and activation experiences that help customers quickly understand Klaviyo's capabilities and achieve meaningful outcomes.
- Drive conversion and monetization through thoughtful in-product experiences that help customers understand available plans, evaluate additional capabilities, and seamlessly upgrade or expand their usage.
- Partner on pricing, packaging, and billing experiences to ensure customers can easily understand, purchase, and manage their subscriptions as their businesses grow.
- Build a culture of experimentation by developing hypotheses, designing and evaluating experiments, and translating insights into product improvements that drive sustainable growth.
- Define and measure success through clear growth metrics, including activation, trial-to-paid conversion, feature adoption, retention, expansion, and revenue impact.
- Leverage customer insights and behavioral data to identify opportunities, understand points of friction, and prioritize initiatives with the greatest potential customer and business impact.
- Collaborate across product and go-to-market teams to connect self-service and sales-assisted growth motions, creating consistent experiences for customers across different segments and stages of maturity.
- Develop and execute a product roadmap that balances near-term growth opportunities with longer-term investments in scalable, customer-centric product experiences.
Who You Are
- You have 3–5+ years of product management experience, ideally with a track record of driving product-led growth, activation, conversion, or monetization within a B2B SaaS or subscription-based business.
- You have strong product and UX instincts, with a demonstrated ability to simplify complex customer journeys and build intuitive, high-quality experiences that drive adoption and engagement.
- You understand the fundamentals of product-led growth and have experience improving meaningful business metrics through product improvements rather than relying solely on marketing or acquisition strategies.
- You're highly analytical and comfortable defining success metrics, interpreting behavioral data, identifying opportunities, and using experimentation to inform product decisions.
- You have a strong customer-first mindset and regularly leverage research, feedback, and product usage insights to understand customer needs and inform your roadmap.
- You understand how product experience and monetization intersect, including the tradeoffs between reducing friction, delivering customer value, and driving revenue growth.
- You've worked closely with engineering and design teams to ship impactful products, balancing speed, quality, and long-term scalability.
- You're comfortable operating in ambiguity, can identify opportunities without a predefined playbook, and bring a strong bias for action and execution.
- You can influence cross-functional stakeholders, communicate a clear product vision, and align teams around measurable outcomes.
- You think like a builder, with the curiosity, creativity, and ownership mindset to challenge assumptions, experiment with new approaches, and continuously improve the customer experience.
Nice to Have
- Experience owning PLG initiatives at a high-growth B2B SaaS company with both self-service and sales-assisted customer journeys.
- Experience with subscription monetization, pricing and packaging, billing, checkout, or self-service upgrade experiences.
- Familiarity with growth experimentation, funnel analytics, cohort analysis, and tools used to understand customer behavior and product performance.
- Experience building onboarding, activation, or expansion experiences for complex, multi-product SaaS platforms.
- Background in martech, ecommerce, CRM, or other data-driven SaaS products.
- Experience leveraging AI-powered tools and emerging technologies to accelerate product development, experimentation, or customer value delivery.
Why This Role Matters
Product-led growth is central to how Klaviyo scales its business and delivers value to customers. As our platform becomes more powerful and our product portfolio expands, the opportunity to simplify how customers discover, adopt, and grow with Klaviyo has never been greater.
In this role, you'll directly influence some of the most important moments in the customer journey, from the first experience with Klaviyo to the decision to invest more deeply in the platform. Your work will help shape how we acquire, activate, convert, and retain customers while building a more seamless, scalable, and customer-centric growth engine.
This is an opportunity to own highly visible initiatives, work across multiple product areas, and make a measurable impact on both customer success and Klaviyo's long-term growth.
