The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Human Resources (HR) Project Manager. Reporting to the Manager, HR Projects, this role will lead highly complex, enterprise-impacting HR projects and transformation initiatives that advance HR and corporate priorities. Partnering closely with senior HR leaders, executives, and cross-functional stakeholders, the successful candidate will apply advanced project management expertise, strategic judgment, and a consultative approach to shape delivery strategies, navigate organizational complexity, and drive sustainable outcomes. The role will also provide portfolio-level insight and help shape the continued evolution of HR project governance and delivery practices.

What you'll do

• Lead highly complex, enterprise-wide HR projects and transformation initiatives from strategy and planning through implementation, adoption, and transition to operations.
• Define delivery strategies, scope, objectives, success measures, governance, decision rights, resourcing approaches, and deliverables in partnership with senior leaders and executives.
• Develop and direct integrated project and program plans that account for enterprise interdependencies, organizational impacts, capacity, sequencing, and competing priorities.
• Drive accountability for strategic outcomes, proactively identifying risks, emerging issues, organizational impacts, and constraints within ambiguous and evolving environments.
• Exercise independent judgment and provide recommendations to senior leaders and executives on highly complex project, governance, organizational, and delivery matters.
• Establish fit-for-purpose governance and executive decision-support materials that enable transparency, alignment, timely escalation, and informed enterprise decisions.
• Influence and build alignment across all levels of the organization, resolving competing priorities and translating business and workforce needs into integrated strategies and actionable plans.
• Act as a strategic advisor to leaders, navigating organizational dynamics, stakeholder considerations, and execution challenges with enterprise implications.
• Identify trends, risks, interdependencies, and opportunities across the HR project portfolio, recommending responses that support prioritization, sequencing, and resource decisions.
• Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR project delivery practices, administration frameworks, intake processes, portfolio management approaches, standards, and tools.
• Provide project management thought leadership, coaching, and expert guidance to project managers and project leads to strengthen capability and delivery consistency across HR.
• Partner with HR Change Management and other specialist functions to integrate change, readiness, adoption, and sustainability strategies into enterprise project delivery.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience leading complex projects, programs, or transformation initiatives.
• PMP or another relevant project management certification.
• Experience delivering HR, workforce, organizational, technology, or change-related initiatives in a large corporate environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-wide initiatives from strategy and planning through implementation, adoption, and transition to operations.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and provide recommendations on highly complex project, governance, organizational, and delivery matters.
• Exceptional stakeholder leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence, align, and build credibility with senior leaders, executives, and cross-functional partners.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and executive presentation skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights.
• Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies, governance, portfolio practices, integrated planning, risk management, and executive reporting.
• Strong understanding of HR functions, organizational dynamics, workforce considerations, and change impacts.
• Experience with portfolio reporting, project governance, and project management tools.
• Experience providing project management thought leadership, coaching, or guidance across a portfolio or project community.
