Title: Specialist, Commodity Management & Sourcing


Key Responsibilities

Spend Analytics & Category Intelligence

·         Support procurement teams in establishing and maintaining a database for global and regional indirect spend categories.

·         Collect, cleanse, validate, and analyze spend data across ERP, procurement, supplier, and contract sources.

·         Perform spend analysis for RFQ, RFP, lifecycle analysis, savings opportunity assessment, and ROI evaluation.

·         Develop category reports, dashboards, spend baselines, supplier views, and executive-ready analytical insights.

·         Identify spend trends, supplier consolidation opportunities, compliance gaps, sourcing levers, and value creation opportunities.

RFx Preparation & Sourcing Support

·         Prepare RFQ, RFP, and RFI packages by leveraging spend analytics, market research, supplier information, and benchmarking inputs.

·         Support sourcing event planning, bid documentation, supplier response tracking, and comparative analysis.

·         Engage internal stakeholders to understand RFx scope of work, business requirements, dependencies, and alignment on RFx timelines.

·         Support lifecycle cost analysis, bid evaluation, supplier scoring, recommendation summaries, and sourcing decision support.

·         Maintain sourcing trackers, action logs, documentation repositories, and approval evidence for audit-ready execution.

Contract Lifecycle Management

·         Update and maintain procurement contract databases and contract-related trackers.

·         Provide early indicators to Category Leaders for expiring contracts, renewal windows, missing documentation, and non-compliance risks.

·         Support contract lifecycle analysis, contract repository hygiene, amendment tracking, and obligation visibility.

·         Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Category Leaders, and stakeholders to support contract execution, renewal, and compliance follow-up.

·         Maintain visibility to contract status, ownership, actions, dependencies, and escalation needs.

Digital Procurement Tools & Spend Intelligence

·         Manage, integrate, upgrade, and improve digital procurement tools used for spend intelligence, sourcing support, and reporting.

·         Support tools such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Fairmarkit, spend analytics platforms, and reporting tools, as applicable.

·         Work with Digital and Process Improvement teams to identify, prioritize, and deploy opportunities to streamline and standardize procurement processes.

·         Support requirements gathering, UAT, data validation, reporting enhancements, training material creation, and user adoption activities.

·         Recommend automation and analytics opportunities to improve sourcing support, contract visibility, and category performance reporting.

Stakeholder Engagement & Project Management Support

·         Support Category Leaders with communication, training, preparation for internal meetings, leadership updates, and project execution.

·         Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align on deliverables, timelines, ownership, dependencies, risks, and open actions.

·         Prepare meeting materials, presentation packs, communication notes, training content, and status updates.

·         Drive follow-through on project milestones, risk mitigation actions, issue resolution, and stakeholder commitments.

·         Operate independently and as part of a team to complete assigned tasks with high quality and within agreed timelines.

Continuous Improvement & Governance

·         Identify opportunities to standardize sourcing support, spend reporting, contract tracking, and stakeholder engagement processes.

·         Support development of SOPs, playbooks, templates, governance routines, and reporting standards.

·         Track operational metrics such as RFx cycle time, spend analytics turnaround time, contract expiration visibility, stakeholder requests, and reporting accuracy.

·         Promote disciplined documentation, compliance, and process adherence across procurement activities.

·         Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across Indirect Sourcing and the Global Procurement CoE.

Required Qualifications

·         Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or related discipline; equivalent practical experience may be considered.

·         6-10 years of experience in an international procurement organization, preferably supporting indirect procurement or global sourcing teams.

·         5-8 years of relevant experience in sourcing support, contract lifecycle management, spend analysis, procurement operations, or category management support.

·         Experience supporting RFQ, RFP, and RFI processes, including market research, benchmarking, supplier analysis, bid evaluation, and documentation.

·         Strong analytical skills with proven comfort in spend analysis, lifecycle analysis, ROI evaluation, and policy compliance assessment.

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with ability to prepare executive-ready analysis, reports, and presentations.

·         Ability to independently and collaboratively complete assigned tasks with excellent results while meeting agreed deadlines.

·         Ability to make decisions and drive task completion in situations where absolute clarity does not exist.

·         Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

·         Experience with digital procurement tools such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Fairmarkit, or similar sourcing, spend intelligence, and contract management platforms.

·         Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, advanced Excel reporting, analytics dashboards, or spend intelligence platforms.

·         Experience supporting global indirect sourcing, procurement transformation, or procurement CoE operating models.

·         Knowledge of contract lifecycle management, procurement governance, sourcing methodology, supplier management, and compliance tracking.

·         Project management, Lean Six Sigma, procurement certification, or equivalent continuous improvement exposure preferred.
