The Payment Operations Specialist, based in the Philippines, supports the day-to-day operations of Coda’s payment processes within the wider B2B Operations organization.
This role will focus on ensuring payment-related operational activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and within agreed timelines. The specialist will work closely with internal teams including Payments, Finance, Compliance, Commercial Operations, and external stakeholders such as payment providers to manage operational requests, investigate issues, and ensure smooth execution of payment processes.
This is a 6-month contractor role, with the possibility of conversion to a full-time position within the wider B2B Operations organization, depending on business needs and the individual's performance.
What you'll do
Payout Reporting

Own day-to-day preparation and delivery of complete, accurate, and timely payout reports.

Gather transaction data and validate inputs to identify discrepancies or data issues.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders to identify root causes and drive resolution.

Support new business activation and continuity by coordinating with payment providers on title approvals and KYC activities.

Gather required documents and info from internal teams and track progress.

Manage follow-ups and records with internal and external stakeholders to maintain accurate approval logs.

Coordinate access requests by validating required information and approvals.

Follow up with stakeholders to maintain complete and accurate access records.

Maintain operational documentation: Create and update reports, trackers, and records for payment ops deliverables.

Manage handoffs: Ensure clear handoffs and persistent follow-through for issues requiring action from other teams.

Update stakeholders: Provide clear, timely status updates on payment-related requests and issues.

Drive process improvements: Identify recurring issues, improve reporting accuracy and turnaround times, and support process enhancements.

Support controls implementation: Assist with setting up and maintaining new payment operations processes and controls.

What you'll bring
Based in the Philippines and able to work effectively with regional and global stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly when investigating discrepancies or operational issues, and when identifying process improvement opportunities

Able to work independently while knowing when to escalate issues or seek support.
Bonus if you have
Experience in payment operations, financial operations, fintech, e-commerce, or related operational roles.
Experience handling payment transactions, reconciliations, transaction monitoring, or operational investigations.
Familiarity with payment platforms, financial systems, or operational tools is an advantage.
Experience working with spreadsheets, dashboards, or reporting tools.
Experience in a B2B, fintech, payments, or digital services environment is beneficial.
