“I can succeed as a Solutions Engineer II – CRD/COMET Platform Specialist.” 

Capital Group is seeking a hands-on technology professional based on-site in Singapore to develop enhancements and support Charles River (CRD), COMET (Capital Group’s CRD implementation) and related Investment Operations platforms. Deep CRD expertise is not required on day one; strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to learn investment workflows quickly are essential. You will work with Investment Operations, Solutions Reliability Engineering (SRE), global support teams and Charles River in a follow-the-sun model.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead regional investigation of CRD/COMET production issues, assess business impact, coordinate resolution with support and vendor teams, and communicate recovery plans and next steps.
• Manage vendor cases and escalations with Charles River professional services.
• Develop and implement enhancements, support testing and release readiness, and coordinate go-lives, major incidents and cross-regional handoffs.
• Build runbooks and controls and drive fixes for recurring issues.
• Improve monitoring and support tooling, including practical use of AI to spot patterns, speed up investigations and make support more proactive.

• You bring 4+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications in production, through application support, solutions engineering or technology delivery. Experience in asset management or financial services is helpful, but not essential.
• You learn new platforms quickly, take ownership and know when to escalate.
• You stay calm under pressure and communicate clearly in business terms during incidents.
• You work well across regions and time zones, and you enjoy continuous learning.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Business or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• Experience with Charles River CRD or a comparable investment platform is preferred but not required. You should be able to learn about a new platform and its supporting business workflows quickly.
• Familiarity with investment workflows, such as order management, compliance, trading or post-trade processes, is helpful.
• Hands-on production support: incident triage, impact assessment, escalation and stakeholder updates, following ITIL-aligned incident and change practices.
• Strong analytical troubleshooting skills are essential. SQL experience for investigating data issues is preferred; scripting (Python, PowerShell) and FIX knowledge are additional advantages.

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
