You translate complex customer challenges into compelling demonstrations, lead needs assessments that surface real value, and help close deals that matter. You also set implementation teams up for success by capturing requirements accurately from day one. Successful candidates will have strong presentation skills, sharp business acumen, and the ability to work across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
What You'll Do
- Lead tailored discovery sessions and deliver high-impact product demonstrations aligned to each customer's priorities and business processes.
- Support the sales team by presenting GHX products and solutions to prospects, customers, and at industry conferences.
- Prepare and present findings to prospects and clients to validate the sales opportunity and advance deals based on measurable value.
- Own the functional and technical sections of RFIs and RFPs, crafting responses that validate decision criteria and win on substance.
- Provide support to answer industry, MMIS, ERP, or data-specific questions as needed.
- Capture technical requirements accurately so implementation teams have what they need to deliver.
- Define account strategy and pipeline plans in close collaboration with field sales to drive pre-sales effectiveness.
- Provide voice of customer to Product Management and Product Marketing to help drive future product functionality based on customer needs.
- Deliver training to Solution Engineer and sales teams.
- Demonstrate and reinforce proficiency in pre-sales roles and methodologies across the team.
- Build and maintain a network with up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive activity.
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of healthcare supply chain knowledge
- Proven pre-sales experience in a SaaS environment; familiar with the rhythm of an enterprise sales cycle
- Ability to present to any audience: IT leads, clinical ops, and C-suite executives
- Strong command of ERP and EHR environments (Workday, Oracle Lawson, Infor, SAP, Meditech, PeopleSoft, Epic)
- Data fluency; comfortable in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data visualization) for deal scoping and analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook)
- Hands-on proficiency with AI tools in daily work such as discovery prep, demo build-out, RFP drafting, and competitive research, paired with a working understanding of how they operate (prompting, retrieval over internal content, agents/automation) and where they fail, so output is validated before it reaches a customer
- Sharp written communication; RFP responses and emails are clear, professional, and persuasive
- Ability to speak publicly in large and high-visibility forums
- Willingness to travel up to 50% for client engagements and industry events
- Bachelor's degree in business or a technical field, and/or equivalent work experience in pre-sales, product management, or engineering
Preferred
- Hands-on experience with GHX solutions and services
- Sales consulting experience for software solutions
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce or equivalent)
- Comfort scripting demos or working in light technical environments (APIs, data tools)
- Experience with MMIS, ERPs or data-specific healthcare platforms

- Ability to validate customer problems through inquiry and provide insight, efficiency, and value
- Able to present technologies as business solutions with competitive and hands-on knowledge
- Knowledge of key industry and business processes; ability to interface effectively at multiple levels (C-suite, functional, technical)
- Able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches
- Exceptional business acumen, presentation skills, and selling aptitude
- Professional communication in written responses to emails, RFPs, and reports
The compensation for this role is: $81000- $108,000
The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the GHX’s salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on various factors, such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of GHX’s total compensation package for employees.
