JOB PURPOSE

This role is part of our Experience & Engineering team based in the Netherlands. We combine our skills in developing future-ready technical solutions with our expertise in creating beautiful designs to deliver exceptional and engaging digital experiences that build lasting relationships with our clients like Gant, Inter Milan, bol.com and Just Eat Takeaway.

We are looking for a Senior Visual Designer who brings a balance of elite visual craft, motion design capability, and digital grit. You will act as the creative engine on some of our most ambitious accounts, leading the aesthetic and movement of digital campaigns, e-commerce platforms, and interactive content. We need an autonomous, client-facing designer who can conceptualize, prototype, and execute high-fidelity work independently while keeping an eye on the broader customer journey. You'll collaborate with talented designers in a client-facing role, work closely with our Design Leads, and balance independent work with team engagement—sharing ideas, feedback, and wins along the way.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead, execute, and deliver exceptional visual design and art direction across high-profile digital campaigns, flagship e-commerce platforms, and content-driven experiences.
• Own the motion landscape for your projects—crafting short-form video, dynamic social content, animated assets, and ambient motion that brings static design to life.
• Build interactive prototypes to map out and demonstrate campaign flows, content hierarchies, and user interactions before production.
• Collaborate with UX designers to ensure brand storytelling and functional, seamless user journeys work hand-in-hand.
• Confidently present and articulate your creative concepts directly to client stakeholders.
• Navigate and master client brand guidelines, knowing exactly when to respect the rules and when to push the creative quality further.
• Embrace the future by actively integrating AI-enabled creative tools and cutting-edge workflows into your daily design practice.
• Thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative, and pragmatic agency matrix where staying static isn't an option.
• Owning the final delivery, ensuring the highest quality in both design and implementation.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Proven experience as a Senior Visual Designer, Digital Art Director, or hybrid UI/Motion Designer within a fast-paced agency environment.
• An elite portfolio showing off deep visual design execution, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong sense of modern typography, layout, and digital craft.
• Demonstrated motion design capability with a portfolio that highlights short-form video, animation, or interactive digital assets.
• Hands-on experience creating interactive prototypes to map out user and campaign flows (using Figma or similar industry tools).
• A strong understanding of digital content mapping—knowing how creative assets and messaging fluidly connect across paid media, CRM, and web experiences.
• Familiarity with varying tiers of digital campaign assets (T1–T4) and how they strategically support different stages of the customer journey is a massive plus.
