What you'll be doing

Talent Acquisition delivers best-in-class experiences that help position CIBC as a destination of choice for top talent, including candidates from co-op, undergraduate, and post-graduate programs. As a Sourcing Partner, you'll proactively source, identify, and assess high-caliber external talent, helping us attract strong talent and leaders who can deliver exceptional client and employee experiences. You'll support the Personal and Business Banking group by developing strategic talent attraction strategies, building sourcing plans, and recruiting high-quality candidates aligned to business plans and goals. In this role, you'll combine market insight, relationship building, and sourcing expertise to strengthen talent pipelines and support hiring outcomes across your portfolio.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

How you'll succeed

• Strategic sourcing - Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans using social media, applicant tracking systems, assessments, industry events, and modern marketing campaigns. Build talent pipelines for your assigned portfolio by identifying effective sourcing channels, engaging your network, and proactively reaching passive candidates in the market.
• Market insight - Stay current on labour market trends, competitor activity, and emerging sourcing strategies, techniques, and technologies. Use these insights to provide recommendations that improve hiring outcomes and help business partners make informed talent decisions.
• Relationship management - Build and maintain strong relationships with leaders, internal partners, and candidates as a trusted talent advisor. Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience through timely communication, thoughtful pipeline management, and consultative support on Talent Acquisition processes and outcomes.
• Project delivery - Support key recruitment initiatives, including pipeline building for business growth, vendor coordination, onboarding support, and background check processes. Contribute to broader Talent Acquisition projects and provide support across sourcing teams as business needs evolve.
• Inclusive talent practices - Champion diversity initiatives aligned to business priorities and partner with the Diversity & Inclusion team to support inclusive hiring goals. Apply diverse interviewing and assessment techniques to help validate candidate experience and broaden talent pools.
