Mastercard Identity, within the Security Solutions organization, leads the development of products and services that enable global commerce, powers financial inclusion, prevents crime and makes some of the most seamless experiences possible.

As part of Mastercard Identity, the Attributes & Insights team drives the development and management of products, programs, and services focused on deterministic attribute verification. The team delivers significant value across the ecosystem, helping to combat new fraud and address regulatory requirements. Job Description

Role Overview

The Senior Specialist will support Account Status Inquiry (ASI) as a data-driven product manager focused on understanding customer usage, evaluating product performance, and translating insights into product actions. This role will analyze ASI adoption across regions, customers, segments, and use cases to identify growth opportunities, product improvements, and customer value drivers. The specialist will partner with regional, sales, engineering, and customer success teams to strengthen ASI reporting, support adoption, develop product documentation, and contribute to data-backed business cases for future enhancements. This role will help improve visibility into ASI utilization, identify underpenetrated customer and regional opportunities, and support roadmap decisions that drive adoption, customer value, and product growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop strong product knowledge of Account Status Inquiry and the broader Attribute & Insights suite of products, including customer use cases, product rules, transaction flows, and value drivers

Analyze ASI usage, transaction trends, customer behavior, regional performance, and segment-level adoption to identify growth opportunities, product improvement areas, and customer value drivers

Build and maintain KPI reporting and performance summaries that clearly communicate ASI usage, adoption, revenue opportunities, customer impact, and product performance trends

Translate data insights into product requirements, enhancement recommendations, business cases, best-practice use cases, and customer-facing value narratives

Support customer, regional, partner, and internal product/sales inquiries by using product knowledge and data analysis to diagnose trends, answer questions, and recommend next steps

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support successful product launches, enhancement delivery, reporting improvements, and operational readiness

Create and maintain product documentation, best practices, sales materials, operational processes, and customer enablement content

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience in product management, payments, financial services, analytics, or a related field, with demonstrated experience analyzing transaction-level, customer, and usage data to inform product strategy. The candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable product insights.

Experience analyzing transaction-level, customer, or usage data to identify trends, anomalies, growth opportunities, and product improvement areas

Proficiency with SQL, advanced Excel, and dashboarding or visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms

Ability to define product KPIs, build performance reporting, and communicate insights that inform product decisions and stakeholder discussions

Familiarity with statistical analysis or data science techniques, including trend analysis, segmentation, hypothesis testing, and data-driven decision making

Product management mindset with the ability to connect customer needs, product capabilities, usage trends, and business outcomes

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data and product topics for business and technical audiences

Knowledge of transaction processing, card-not-present payments, authorization flows, or network products is a plus

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in Canada, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive pay based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
