The Reporting team at Omnisend empowers merchants with clear, actionable insights into their marketing performance. We build the analytics and reporting capabilities that help merchants understand how their campaigns, automations, and channels drive engagement and revenue. Our solutions transform complex marketing and sales data into intuitive dashboards and reports, enabling merchants to analyze performance, discover opportunities, and make data-driven decisions to grow their business.
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a strong focus on backend development, but who is also comfortable working across the full stack. Proactive, product-minded individuals who enjoy owning features end-to-end and are enthusiastic about building data-driven products will thrive at Omnisend. If you’re passionate about designing scalable backend systems, working with complex data, and occasionally contributing to intuitive front-end experiences that deliver actionable insights to merchants, we’d love to have you on our team!
What you’ll do @Omnisend:
Own significant reporting capabilities from discovery through production operation.
Shape technical and product decisions together with product and design partners.
Design scalable services and data flows with clear reliability and observability expectations.
Lead technical problem-solving across service boundaries.
Improve engineering practices through reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.
Support other engineers without making formal people management part of the role.
We expect that you’ll bring:
5+ years building production backend systems.
Strong experience in Go or another backend language, with an interest in adopting Go.
Experience designing APIs and data-intensive services.
Understanding of distributed systems, asynchronous processing, and event-driven architecture.
Experience operating services in a cloud environment.
Strong testing, debugging, and production ownership practices.
GCP.
Real-time data pipelines.
Analytics or reporting products.
React or another modern frontend framework.
ML, AI, or LLM-powered product development.
