A Day in the Life

The Global Commercial Office (GCO) Sales Enablement organization delivers technology capabilities that help commercial teams drive customer engagement, sales execution, and business growth. This team partners with Sales, Service, Enterprise Accounts, and Commercial Operations stakeholders to develop and enhance customer relationship management (CRM) solutions that support intelligent selling and operational excellence across the Americas region.
This position is based in Hyderabad, India and follows a Hybrid work model, combining in-office collaboration with remote work. The role partners with globally distributed business and technology teams to deliver scalable Salesforce platform capabilities and enterprise integrations.

As a Senior IT Developer (Salesforce), you will provide technical leadership in the design, development, integration, and support of Salesforce solutions that enable commercial business processes. The role focuses on building scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce applications while driving platform best practices, solution quality, and continuous improvement across enterprise CRM capabilities.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Design and develop Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Health Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Data Cloud platforms.
• Build and enhance Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex classes, triggers, platform events, asynchronous Apex processes, and APIs.
• Develop AI-enabled Salesforce capabilities utilizing Agentforce, Prompt Builder, and other Salesforce AI technologies.
• Configure and optimize Salesforce Flows, approval processes, data models, and platform automation following Salesforce best practices.
• Integrate Salesforce with enterprise applications and external platforms using REST, SOAP, and event-driven integration frameworks.
• Implement scalable security models using role hierarchy, sharing rules, permission sets, profiles, field-level security, and restriction rules.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions to improve platform reliability.
• Collaborate with business, architecture, and delivery teams to support release management, platform enhancements, and continuous innovation.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of IT experience with 5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Experience in Apex programming, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flows, SOQL/SOSL, Platform Events, and REST/SOAP integrations.
• Experience implementing Salesforce security models, data architecture, and performance optimization practices.
• Experience with Git or Bitbucket, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Salesforce deployment tools.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments using tools such as Jira.
  Nice to Haves:
• Salesforce Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, Platform App Builder, Data Cloud Consultant, Agentforce Specialist, or similar Salesforce certifications.
• Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud and AI-driven customer data solutions.
• Experience supporting Sales Enablement, CRM modernization, or commercial transformation initiatives.
• Experience configuring and supporting Experience Cloud portals.
• Experience working within large-scale global enterprise environments.
