We're looking for Senior Software Engineers to join a collaborative, cross-functional squad of Engineers, Product Owners and Software Engineers in Test. You'll work on meaningful challenges, contribute to technical direction, and help build products that customers rely on every day.

What you'll be doing

You'll play a key role in designing, building and evolving modern cloud-based applications while helping raise the capability of those around you.

• Build and enhance scalable applications using C#, .NET, Angular, Azure and Microservices

• Own services end-to-end, from design through to production

• Partner closely with Product and business stakeholders to solve real customer problems

• Contribute to architecture, engineering practices and technical decision making

• Mentor and coach other engineers through collaboration and thoughtful code reviews

• Champion quality, reliability and continuous improvement in everything you ship

• Leverage automation and AI-assisted engineering practices to deliver value faster and more effectively

About you

You're an engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, working collaboratively, and creating software that lasts.

• Strong experience building applications with C# .NET

• Expertise working with Azure and cloud-native technologies

• Experience with SQL Server and NoSQL databases

• Front-end development experience with Angular and/or React

• The ability to communicate confidently with both technical and business stakeholders

• A track record of mentoring others and contributing to the growth of the wider engineering team

Netwealth's engineering organisation is aligned around customer value streams. The Implement Tribe helps clients get onto and set up within the platform, the Invest Tribe focuses on how clients invest and transact, and the Review Tribe provides the insights, reporting and tools that help clients and advisers evaluate outcomes and make decisions. Teams are organised around end-to-end ownership, giving engineers a direct connection to customer outcomes and business value

Recruitment Process

• 30-minute Talent Screening (Teams)

• 60-75 minute Technical Interview including a live coding exercise (Teams)

• Online Psychometric & Cognitive Assessments completed in your own time

• 60-minute Final Interview at our Melbourne CBD office

We'll work at a pace that suits you. Whether you'd like time to balance current work and personal commitments, or prefer to move quickly, we can tailor the process to your availability and, in many cases, complete all stages within approximately two weeks.
