We are currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer / Team Leader - Municipal Engineering for our White Plains, NY office. This position is available to an experienced engineer or a project manager with the drive and desire to make an impact in the White Plains / Westchester County Community. The individual will be responsible for leading design, planning, and scheduling. The successful candidate will provide leadership, mentorship, and design assistance to engineering staff for municipal engineering, water and wastewater related projects. What You’ll Do
- Lead the planning, design, and delivery of multidisciplinary public infrastructure projects.
- Lead a team of engineers, designers, and technical staff, fostering professional growth and accountability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal and state clients, serving as a trusted technical advisor.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, staffing, and performance to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction.
- Provide quality assurance and quality control oversight on design deliverables.
- Participate in business development efforts, from identifying opportunities to developing proposals and presenting them to clients.
- Collaborate with peers across offices and disciplines to share resources and strengthen technical excellence.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 per year
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 15+ years of experience in municipal or public infrastructure design and project management.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in New York or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Proven experience leading teams, managing clients, and delivering successful infrastructure projects.
- Possess a high capacity for self-motivation and be able to apply engineering knowledge to a wide variety of projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communications and analytical/problem solving skills are essential.
- Strong understanding of AutoDesk Civil 3D, stormwater and utility design, and local standards.
