SAP Functional Analyst (Sales and Distribution)
This position is onsite #LI-Onsite
Are you experienced in analyzing, designing, configuring, and supporting SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) solutions? Reporting to the Platform Owner, Core SAP you will collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to deliver end to end solutions that align with the organization’s target state technology stack.
You will enable process standardization to optimize sales operations, and ensure seamless integration between SAP SD and other systems.

About the Role
SAP SD Solution Design and Configuration
- Analyze and translate requirements into functional specifications for SAP SD and Order To Cash solutions.
- Configure SAP SD modules, including order management, pricing, billing, shipping, and credit management.
- Ensure seamless integration between SAP SD and other SAP modules (e.g., MM, FICO, PP) and non-SAP systems.
- Develop and maintain documentation for functional designs, configurations, and processes.
Business Process Analysis and Improvement
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand sales and distribution processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Recommend and implement best practices to optimize order-to-cash processes and customer service operations.
- Conduct gap analysis and propose solutions to address business needs.
- Support the organization’s FSM transformation program by enabling process standardization and automation.
Testing and Quality Assurance
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for SAP SD solutions.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solution quality.
- Identify and resolve defects during the testing phase.
- Ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements and are free of errors.
Support and Troubleshooting
- Provide functional support for SAP SD modules, including issue resolution and troubleshooting.
- Monitor system performance and address any issues to ensure smooth operations.
- Work with technical teams to resolve system integration and performance issues.
Continuous Learning and Innovation
- Stay updated on the latest SAP SD technologies and best practices.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the organization’s sales and distribution systems and processes.
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing activities.
About You
- Bachelors' degree in IT, Business Administration or related experience
- 3+ years of experience as an SAP Functional Analyst with expertise in Sales and Distribution.
- Experience with SAP SD configuration and support.
- 5+ years of experience in SAP SD, including implementation, support and modules (order management, pricing, billing, and shipping.)
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA Sales and Distribution and Order To Cash processes.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution (CLTD).
- SAP Certified – SAP S/4HANA Sales
- Proficiency in integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, FICO, PP).
- Experience with SAP external integrations (example idocs) and familiarity with MuleSoft or similar Middleware.
- Experience with Agile project product methodologies.
