Job Role: Sales Support Assistant

Compensation range: $1,400 AUD - $1,600 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

As they continue to grow, they are looking for people who are proactive, adaptable and keen to take ownership in a fast-moving environment.

Role Overview: They are looking for a Sales Support Assistant to manage Instagram conversations with prospective customers and support the sales process from initial enquiry through to conversion. You’ll handle a high volume of daily messages, qualify leads, understand customer goals and guide conversations using established sales frameworks and AI-assisted responses. Strong written English, commercial awareness and the ability to build genuine rapport are essential.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Manage Instagram DMs, responding to approximately 20–25 new leads and 100+ total messages per day.
• Review and send AI-assisted, pre-populated messages while ensuring responses are accurate, natural and aligned with the brand.
• Ask relevant qualifying questions to understand customer goals, needs and pain points.
• Identify buying signals, respond to objections and guide suitable prospects through the sales process.
• Follow up with warm and non-responsive leads using the established seven-day follow-up process.
• Engage and nurture leads generated through advertising and lead magnets.
• Follow sales frameworks while adapting conversations to each prospect without sounding scripted or pushy.
• Maintain a high standard of customer communication and protect the overall customer and brand experience.

Requirements

• Must have 4–5+ years of experience in sales or a customer-facing role.
• Excellent written English, grammar and attention to detail.
• Natural and conversational communication style with strong rapport-building skills.
• Commercially minded and confident handling objections and sales conversations.
• Strong ability to read customer cues, recognise buying signals and adapt communication accordingly.
• Comfortable using structured sales frameworks and AI-assisted messaging while maintaining a personal approach.
• Able to manage a high volume of conversations while prioritising quality and timely responses.
• Genuine interest or experience in health and fitness is highly desirable.
• Available to work and align with Australian hours, with a 5-day working week scheduled across the following hours: 8:00 AM–11:00 AM and 4:00 PM–9:00 PM, Monday to Friday, and 2:00 PM–9:00 PM on Sunday.
• This role is open to female candidates only. As the business primarily coaches female clients, around 99% of lead conversations are with women. A female team member is preferred to help build rapport and establish a natural connection with prospective clients.

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
