Elevate Semiconductor is seeking a Sales Engineer to serve as the technical bridge between our engineering teams and customers. This role partners closely with Sales, Applications Engineering, Product Engineering, and Design Engineering to understand customer requirements, demonstrate technical capabilities, and develop solutions that align with customer needs.
The ideal candidate is an experienced Applications Engineer with a strong background in analog and mixed signal semiconductors and a passion for customer engagement. An MBA or similar business background is highly preferred. Success in this role requires the ability to build trusted customer relationships while translating complex technical solutions into business value for ATE and semiconductor test applications.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Sales team to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
- Provide technical presentations, product demonstrations, and design reviews to customers.
- Support customer evaluations by assisting with product selection, performance analysis, and implementation.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact during the pre sales process.
- Collaborate with Applications, Product Engineering, and Design Engineering to resolve customer technical questions and drive successful design wins.
- Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to influence future product development.
- Support new product introductions and product launches with technical collateral and customer training.
- Assist in preparing technical proposals, responses to customer inquiries, and competitive product comparisons.
- Travel to customer sites, industry conferences, and trade shows as needed.
- Build long-term technical relationships with customers and strategic partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field. An MBA is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in semiconductor sales engineering, applications engineering, product engineering, design engineering, or a similar customer facing technical role.
- Strong understanding of analog and mixed signal semiconductor products.
- Experience supporting customers throughout the technical sales process.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating across multiple functional teams.
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% to 40%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) or semiconductor test.
- Familiarity with precision analog ICs, DACs, PMICs, interface ICs, or mixed signal products.
- Experience working with global semiconductor customers.
- Knowledge of memory, AI, computing, or automotive semiconductor markets.
- Experience using oscilloscopes, source measurement units, logic analyzers, and laboratory equipment.
- Experience with MATLAB, Python, or other data analysis tools.
- Previous experience supporting new product introductions or product marketing activities.

The salary range for this role is $90,000.00-$130,000.00. Starting salary will be aligned with your relevant experience and demonstrated capabilities during the interview process. Typically, candidates begin at the initial tier of our compensation range, with placement adjusted for candidates presenting extensive directly applicable experience.
