A DAY IN A LIFE

At Teleport, we’re building toward IPO and that means doing the boring things well. Execution, discipline, and follow-through matter as much as big ideas.

Your day will be varied, often crossing functions, but most of your time will focus on delivering results, owning your scope end-to-end, making fast, data-informed decisions, and following through on fundamentals like reporting, documentation, and processes.

How we work matters as much as what we achieve. Doing the basics right, every time, sets us up for success. 

Most of your time will be spent driving impact through:

• Regional Centralization: Migrating decentralized finance tasks from our local markets into a high-efficiency Shared Service Center (SSC) model.
• Process Excellence & SLA Management: Defining and meeting strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure our vendors are paid on time and our revenue is collected faster than the industry average.
• Scale through Automation: Partnering with the Finance Systems team to automate high-volume transactions within Oracle, reducing manual touchpoints and headcount-dependency as we scale.
• Cost Optimization: Driving the "Integrated Logistics" moat by lowering our cost-to-serve through operational efficiency and standardized workflows.
• Talent Management: Leading and upskilling a large, diverse team, ensuring a culture of high performance and "doing it with intent."

Requirements

• Operational Accounting Leadership: 10+ years of experience managing regional SSCs or overseeing the full spectrum of AR, AP, and GL functions in complex markets. 
• AR, AP & GL Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience owning Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger functions, not just overseeing them. You understand the end-to-end flow, where things break, and how to fix them at scale across multiple markets.
• Operational Discipline: A track record of turning messy, manual processes into streamlined, automated workflows.
• Oracle Familiarity: Experience operating within an Oracle ERP environment to drive transactional efficiency.
• Change Management: Proven ability to lead large teams through organizational shifts and process transformations.
• Regional Experience: Deep understanding of the diverse payment and payroll landscapes across Southeast Asia.
