Overview of Opportunity
Two Six Technologies is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Management Assistant to help us manage day-to-day internal and external program activities in our Mobile team. You will join a small team that does research and development of next-generation technologies for mobile communications and networks. This role involves a variety of administrative and project management responsibilities. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with project leaders to help the team achieve program goals and ensure the successful execution of project milestones and deadlines.
This is a hybrid role, working both remotely and at our Arlington, VA headquarters at least 2-3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory, purchasing, scheduling, and event preparation (internal and external coordination).
- Assist in the planning, budgeting, preparing and overseeing significant and routine events.
- Handle back-office management, including security, clearance processes, and office administration.
- Maintain project schedule, project action reports, and product delivery logistics.
- Serve as a technical writer to generate and update documentation.
- Coordinate logistics with contracting, finance, and other business units.
- Assist with JIRA tasks and tracking.
- Prepare for monthly program reviews and related activities.
- Manage various business and staff meetings to include scheduling, attending, and taking notes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable education and experience.
- 1+ years of experience working in a role supporting project execution.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills with demonstrated experience communicating with all levels of staff.
- Proficiency in MS Office to include Word, Excel, and Outlook, with expert skills working with PowerPoint
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proven track record in event planning and logistics coordination.
- Eligibility to obtain a Top Secret security clearance
Nice-to-have:
- Active Top Secret security clearance
- Experience working with OpenProject/JIRA
- Experience with Visio/Lucid/draw.io
