As demand for renewable energy and grid modernization accelerates, we're looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our growing team and help deliver critical High Voltage Substation and Renewable Energy pro-jects across Australia and New Zealand.
About the Role
As a Project Engineer, you'll play a key role in the engineering delivery of complex projects, working closely with customers, project managers, suppliers, contractors, and technical specialists. You'll coordinate engineering activities from design through commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
How you'll make an impact
- Lead and coordinate engineering activities across project lifecycles.
- Deliver technical solutions for High Voltage and utility-scale renewable energy projects.
- Support testing, installation, commissioning, and project execution activities.
- Collaborate with suppliers and supply chain teams to ensure technical requirements are met.
- Contribute to project planning, risk assessments, and contract management activities.
- Assist with customer engagement and provide technical guidance throughout project delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement and share engineering best practices across the business.
- Champion our commitment to safety, sustainability, and operational excellence.
Your Background
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical preferred).
- Approximately 5+ years' experience within High Voltage, Utilities, Renewables, Transmission, Distribution, or related industries.
- Eligible for or working towards CPEng registration.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience participating in multidisciplinary project teams.
- Passion for delivering quality engineering outcomes and solving complex technical challenges.
