DIS-TRAN Steel is looking for a Project Coordinator to join the team in Pineville at the Crest Corporate offices on 28 East. The Project Coordinator serves as the main point of contact for DIS-TRAN Steel customers and serves as the liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. This position is responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring a variety of projects; assists engineering and technical staff to ensure that project schedules and the overall scope of projects are met. The Project Coordinator analyzes, documents, and communicates job requirements to teams at the corporate office and at the DIS-TRAN Plant.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serves as the primary point of contact for customers regarding projects
Adheres to project plans, including project scope, goals, tasks, resources, schedules, contingencies, or other project information, and ensures all project specifications are met
Sets project schedule; manages any alterations to the project schedule
Maintains the project folder for each individual project; verifies that all pertinent information is present in the folder
Analyzes and communicates project requirements to all involved departments, including detailing, BOM, engineering, and the plant
Updates Epicor with any project revisions or project schedule changes
Obtains information regarding the anchor bolt requirements and orders project-specific anchor bolts
Submits calculation and drawing packages for customer approval
Monitors and tracks project milestones and deliverables
Provides verbal or written project status reports to project teams, management, and/or customers
Coordinates customer plant visits
Prepares and reviews fabrication drawings for fabrication-only projects
Coordinates with the shipping department on large-scale deliveries
Assists in the resolution of issues reported from the field
Assists in the resolution of issues reported from the plant
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering Technology or a related field is preferred; a satisfactory combination of education, training, and/or experience will be considered
Excellent communication and organizational skills are required
Capacity to read and understand fabrication drawings is required
Superb customer service skills are required
Exceptional time management skills are required
Performing quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision is required
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook is required
Experience in the steel fabrication industry is preferred
Epicor experience is preferred
