Job Description:
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
Production at SkinHealth Systems depends on the right materials being in the right place at the right time — accurately issued, properly tracked, and correctly recorded in the inventory system. The Production Inventory Coordinator is the person who makes that happen on the production floor every day.
This role sits at the intersection of inventory management and manufacturing operations, ensuring that materials flow to production lines without interruption, work orders close accurately, and discrepancies are resolved before they become production stoppages.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Issue and record materials, equipment, and returns for production teams, ensuring accurate documentation of all transactions.
Maintain accurate inventory records and perform daily cycle counts to identify and resolve stock discrepancies.
Close work orders accurately and on time in the inventory management system.
Receive, store, and organize incoming materials and supplies in designated locations.
Ensure adequate stock levels for production requirements and initiate reorder requests as needed.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in coordination with the inventory control team.
Use inventory management software to track stock movements and update transactions in real time.
Support Engineering with material revisions, BOM updates, and workstation material changes.
Prepare requisitions for tools, repairs, and material replenishment.
Keep work areas and material storage locations organized and compliant with 5S standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Required
High school diploma or GED.
Prior inventory control or material handling experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Ability to read and follow written instructions, standard operating procedures, and diagrams.
Basic math and computer skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively as part of a production team.
Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.
Preferred
1+ year of manufacturing or assembly experience.
Experience with ISO 13485 or other quality management system environments.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing or 5S principles.
Experience with ERP or inventory management systems (NetSuite preferred).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB
On-site manufacturing and production environment role.
Requires standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs with assistance.
Regular use of inventory management systems, barcode scanners, and computer terminals.
Exposure to production floor conditions including noise, machinery, and moving equipment.
We mean it when we say you’ll LOVE this role.
Base Pay: $47,000- $55,000 Annually
