Job Description of a Position in Product Promotion Team

TITLE/LEVEL: Up to Vice President

LOCATION: Tokyo, Japan

EMPLOYER: Morgan Stanley Investment Management (Japan) Co., Ltd.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Planning and creating effective marketing materials based on a broad and deep understanding of sales activities, client needs, regulations in Japan.

• Proactively contribute to marketing initiatives through close communication and collaboration with sales teams and portfolio specialists

• Lead initiatives to introduce new processes and systems to enhance marketing activities through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

• Actively take part in repositioning of the team to cope with changes in competitive environment
   

REPORTING LINE:

Head of Product Promotion Department for MSIM Japan

TYPICAL QUALIFYING BACKGROUND:

• Experience in marketing activities at financial institutions, including product and sales positions

• Experience in planning and creating marketing materials for various financial products, such as pitch books, brochures.

• Experience or understanding in roles of portfolio specialist or portfolio management

REQUIRED/DESIRED SKILLS

• Have a broad knowledge of financial products and industry trends

• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Strong Japanese and English ability

• Team worker and credible communicator

• Motivated to build trust relationships with local and global colleagues
