Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner / Product Manager with a strong technology product delivery background to drive the development, enhancement and scaling of digital products within the financial services industry.

You will work on a portfolio of initiatives spanning AI-enabled products, new product development, product enhancements and scaling existing solutions. This role requires a combination of product ownership, stakeholder management, technology understanding and delivery execution, with the ability to translate business objectives into clear product priorities and outcomes.

You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, designers, Business Analysts and delivery teams to bring products from concept through development, launch and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the development and delivery of new digital products, AI-enabled solutions and enhancements to existing technology products.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand customer needs, business challenges and product opportunities.
• Define and communicate product vision, objectives, priorities and delivery roadmaps.
• Translate business objectives into product requirements, features, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Own and manage product backlogs, ensuring effective prioritisation based on business value, feasibility and delivery dependencies.
• Work closely with engineering, architecture, data and technology teams throughout product development.
• Support the assessment and prioritisation of AI use cases and AI-enabled product capabilities where relevant.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews and retrospectives.
• Coordinate product testing, UAT, release planning and go-live readiness.
• Engage stakeholders to manage expectations, communicate product progress and resolve competing priorities.
• Monitor product performance, user feedback and adoption to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support the scaling and continuous enhancement of existing products to meet evolving business needs.

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager or equivalent product delivery professional.
• Demonstrated experience delivering technology products, digital platforms or applications, ideally from concept through launch and enhancement.
• Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle, Agile methodologies and product backlog management.
• Experience defining product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and product roadmaps.
• Ability to balance business priorities, customer needs, technical feasibility and delivery constraints.
• Experience working closely with engineering, technology and cross-functional product teams.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving capabilities.

Advantageous Experience

• Experience within Financial Services, Wealth Management or Private Banking.
• Exposure to AI product development, AI use cases, AI-enabled solutions or AI-driven product innovation.
• Experience launching new technology products or scaling existing digital products.
• Familiarity with digital banking platforms, customer journeys, APIs, data products or emerging technologies.
• Product Owner certifications such as CSPO, PSPO or equivalent.
• Previous experience in consulting or client-facing product delivery environments.
