As a Procurement PaaS- Senior Associate, you will focus on optimizing sourcing and procurement processes to drive cost savings, enhance supplier collaboration, and strengthen supply chain resilience. Within our Business & Supply Chain Operations practice, you will work closely with clients to analyze sourcing strategies, identify opportunities for cost reduction, and develop strategies to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness. You will also provide guidance on implementing strategic sourcing frameworks, supplier relationship management, and digital procurement solutions.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will leverage your skills to analyze client needs, develop operational strategies, and offer guidance to help clients streamline processes, improve productivity, and drive business performance.

Responsibilities

- Experience in design and execution of Strategic Sourcing initiatives including RFI / RFP (Request for Information / Request for Proposal) design, development and analysis, and Supplier Negotiation strategy

- Understanding of Spend Analysis, Category savings assessment, and Procurement Diagnostics

Contract Management (Working through multiple business stakeholders to take a contract from start to finish, managing contract renewals proactively, quick supplier negotiations). Supplier Management (Conducting QBRs, managing supplier performance, etc.)

- Experience with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) platforms such as Coupa, SAP Ariba etc. Understanding of fundamental principles of P2P including spend and commodity taxonomies, requisitioning, PO generation, receiving and invoice processing

- Analyzing client needs to develop operational strategies that enhance productivity and drive business performance
- Collaborating with clients to optimize sourcing and procurement processes for cost savings and supply chain resilience
- Implementing strategic sourcing frameworks and digital procurement solutions to improve procurement efficiency
- Managing supplier relationships to foster collaboration and optimize supplier performance
- Utilizing procurement software such as SAP Ariba and Coupa Software to streamline procurement activities
- Conducting spend analysis and supplier evaluations to identify opportunities for cost reduction
- Leading contract negotiations and confirming contractual compliance monitoring
- Providing guidance on procurement process improvement and strategic sourcing initiatives
- Supporting project resource management and planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities
- Engaging in supply chain analysis to enhance supply chain management and collaboration efforts

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4-8 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
- A strong understanding of procurement operations and/or understanding of procurement outsourcing operating model

- Ability to structure and execute procurement transformation workstreams

- Experience with digital tools for procurement analytics and supplier management

- Proficiency in using data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms to communicate key procurement metrics and KPIs.

- Experience in managing complex, high-value, or high-risk categories such as IT, logistics, and construction, with a focus on driving sustainable value capture.

- Understanding of multiple project workstreams and guiding junior team members

Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze large datasets, generate insights, and create clear reports.

- Utilizing Coupa Software and SAP Ariba for procurement processes
- Managing complex procurement and strategic sourcing initiatives
- Demonstrating proficiency in supplier relationship management
- Excelling in contract negotiation and contractual compliance monitoring
