Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group looking for a Practice Coordinator to join our Surgical Oncology Office located in Hartford.

The Practice Coordinator provides day-to-day operational leadership for a medical practice site supporting 1-4 providers. This role partners with the Manager to oversee staff, patient flow, scheduling, customer service, compliance, and office operations while maintaining responsibilities within the practice as a Front Desk Associate, Business Services Representative, Medical Assistant, or LPN.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily practice operations, workflows, and staff performance.
• Coordinate provider and staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage.
• Support patient satisfaction and address concerns promptly.
• Lead daily huddles and facilitate communication between staff, providers, and management.
• Monitor front-office processes, including registration, insurance verification, referrals, and authorizations.
• Assist with payroll, timecard review, and financial reconciliation activities.
• Ensure timely completion of clinical workflows, forms, and patient communications.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational policies.
• Manage office supplies, equipment, facility needs, and staff training requirements.
• Support employee onboarding, coaching, and performance management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in a physician practice or medical office required.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication, customer service, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and drive operational efficiency in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
