Chevron markets Caltex® fuels, lubricants and other petroleum products in the Philippines. Our network of service stations, terminals and sales offices forms the backbone of our presence in the Philippines.

In March 2020, Chevron sold its 45% non-operated interest in the Malampaya natural gas field. This was the first natural gas development and largest industrial project in the Philippines.

From the Philippines, we provide operational support for Chevron offices on five continents. The workforce supplies transactional, processing and consulting services in areas ranging from finance to information technology.

Chevron operates through two subsidiaries in the Philippines. Our Downstream company is Chevron Philippines Inc. We also operate a business processes support organization through Chevron Holdings Inc.

There are two Chevron companies operating in the Philippines: Chevron Holdings Incorporated (CHI) and Chevron Philippines Incorporated (CPI).

CHI is a shared services center providing transactional, processing, and consulting services in the areas of finance and accounting, information technology, supply chain management, human resources, downstream customer service and marketing. Established in 1998, CHI serves Chevron affiliates in six continents around the world. Over the years, it has grown to be one of the leading members of the shared services industry in the Philippines.

About the Role

The Power Platform Software Integration Engineer is responsible for the engineering, administration, governance, and extension of Chevron's Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. This role designs, develops, deploys, and supports platform capabilities that enable citizen developers, business users, and professional developers to build secure and scalable business solutions.

The engineer will develop custom platform services, automation, APIs, and integrations that extend native Power Platform capabilities while ensuring compliance with enterprise governance standards. The role also supports platform administration, environment management, licensing, capacity planning, Copilot and AI enablement, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies, security controls, monitoring, and operational support.

Success in this role requires expertise in Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, DevOps, API development, automation, and enterprise platform governance, with a focus on delivering a secure, scalable, and well-governed developer experience.

As a Power Platform Software Integration Engineer, you will:

Power Platform Engineering & Administration

• Administer and support Microsoft Power Platform environments, tenants, and platform services.
• Manage environment strategy, governance controls, capacity monitoring, and platform operations.
• Design and implement Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and platform security controls.
• Manage Power Platform licensing, consumption reporting, AI credits, Copilot credits, and capacity utilization.
• Develop operational dashboards and telemetry solutions to monitor platform health, adoption, and consumption.
• Support platform upgrades, feature rollouts, and lifecycle management activities.

Platform Development & Extensibility

• Design and develop custom services, APIs, connectors, and extensions that enhance native Power Platform capabilities.
• Build automation and orchestration solutions using Power Platform, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and other cloud-native technologies.
• Develop custom solutions that integrate with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Copilot Studio, Azure, and enterprise systems.
• Extend and automate Power Platform deployment pipelines, governance controls, approval workflows, and operational processes.
• Develop reusable frameworks, components, and engineering patterns to improve platform adoption and scalability.

Software Engineering & Integration

• Design, develop, test, and maintain APIs and integration services using .NET, C#, and Microsoft Azure.
• Build integrations across enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, data platforms, and operational systems.
• Implement event-driven and API-first integration patterns.
• Optimize solutions for performance, security, reliability, and maintainability.
• Establish CI/CD practices leveraging GitHub, Azure DevOps, and Power Platform Pipelines.

Governance & Platform Enablement

• Collaborate with product owners, architects, security teams, and platform stakeholders.
• Support governance initiatives including DLP, environment management, access controls, managed environments, and Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) practices.
• Establish and maintain standards, guardrails, and engineering best practices for Power Platform development.
• Mentor developers and citizen developers on platform capabilities and governance expectations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform administration, development, or platform engineering.
• Strong experience with: Power Apps Power Automate Dataverse Power Platform Pipelines Managed Environments Copilot Studio Power Platform Admin Center (PPAC)
• Experience designing and implementing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and platform governance controls.
• Experience managing Power Platform environments, capacity, licensing, and platform operations.
• Strong experience developing solutions using: C# .NET ASP.NET Core REST APIs Azure Functions Logic Apps
• Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and source control practices.
• Knowledge of secure application development, identity management, and enterprise integration patterns.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience extending native Power Platform capabilities through custom platform services and automation.
• Experience developing custom connectors and API Management solutions.
• Experience with Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Toolkit.
• Experience managing Copilot Studio, AI Builder, Microsoft Copilot, and Power Platform credit consumption.
• Experience with Azure Integration Services including: Service Bus Event Grid API Management Azure Functions Logic Apps
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise Power Platform deployments.
• Familiarity with governance, compliance, audit, SOX, and security requirements in regulated enterprise environments.
• Microsoft certifications such as: Power Platform Solution Architect Power Platform Developer Associate Azure Developer Associate Azure Administrator Associate
