The Portfolio Strategy Office Specialist supports the optimization and execution of strategic initiatives and business plans across portfolios. The role contributes to strategic analysis, data-driven decision-making, and the coordination of initiatives that enhance portfolio value and efficiency.
- Assists in analyzing portfolio performance data to identify operational trends, variances, and risks.
- Supports the execution of portfolio management strategies and strategic initiatives.
- Prepares routine and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and presentations summarizing portfolio insights for management review.
- Coordinates with internal stakeholders to gather data and align operational activities with strategic targets.
- Provides analytical and quantitative support for portfolio optimization, restructurings, and evaluation of new projects.
- Tracks daily/monthly KPIs and metrics to monitor overall performance against established strategic goals.
- Assists in the implementation and documentation of Credit & Litigation Policies per Investor / Portfolio.
Requirements
Education, Experience and Technical Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, ACCA) considered an asset.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Banking or related industry
- Experience in Non-Performing Exposures (NPE/NPL) or financial services sector is considered a strong plus.
- Strong analytical skills and computer literacy, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of SQL, statistical analysis tools (R, Python, etc.), or visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau) is considered an asset.
- Solid understanding of portfolio management concepts, key performance indicators (KPIs), SLAs, and strategic performance evaluation.
