Allied Physicians Group is seeking an experienced provider for a part-time role at APG Urgent Care - Franklin Square, serving families across Nassau County and the surrounding metro area. You'll deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a collaborative, child-focused environment while helping expand access to pediatric healthcare beyond traditional office hours. What You Will Do

• Provide urgent and episodic care for pediatric patients, from infancy through young adulthood
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries in a pediatric urgent care setting
• Perform procedures including laceration repair, abscess drainage, and foreign body removal
• Deliver clear communication, education, and reassurance to patients and families
• Collaborate closely with providers, nursing staff, and operational teams to ensure an exceptional patient experience
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the athenaOne EMR
• Support innovative care delivery models, including telemedicine services

Ideal Background

• Experience in Pediatrics, Pediatric Urgent Care, or Pediatric Emergency Medicine
• Comfortable managing acute illnesses and minor injuries independently
• Thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Genuine passion for delivering outstanding care to children and families

Qualifications

• Current DEA Registration
• PALS
• Pediatric Urgent Care and/or Emergency Department experience preferred
• Excellent communication and patient-centered bedside manner
• athenaOne experience a plus
