Sobre este puesto de Netsuite Solutions Architect en Teamshares
About Teamshares
Teamshares is a technology-enabled acquirer of small and midsize businesses. We buy companies with $0.5 million to $5 million in EBITDA, integrate them with our platform, and help employees become owners. Founded in 2019, we operate 90+ subsidiaries with approximately $490 million in consolidated revenue across 40+ industries and 30 states.
The Role
We're looking for a NetSuite Solution Architect to design and lead ERP implementations across our network of 90+ companies. You'll own the technical architecture for how we deploy NetSuite, make design decisions that affect multiple companies, unblock complex technical problems, and establish standards so implementations scale consistently.
This is an individual contributor role. You'll work directly with implementation partners and company finance teams, do solution design presentations, troubleshoot technical issues, and influence how we approach NetSuite across the network. You're hands-on, not managing others.
You'll have significant technical influence and decision authority. As we grow, you'll build and lead a small team. We're looking for someone who can handle the immediate hands-on architecture work while growing into leadership of this function.
Context: We're running multiple NetSuite implementations and considering our long-term platform strategy. About two-thirds of our network is still on QuickBooks Online, and we evaluate financial-systems decisions strategically. You'll help define how NetSuite fits into our broader technology roadmap.
Responsibilities
NetSuite Architecture & Technical Strategy: Define the technical architecture for NetSuite deployments. Make strategic decisions about single-instance vs. multi-instance, data integration, reporting, and customization boundaries. Document architecture decisions and evolve them as you learn.
Solution Design & Customer Engagement: Work with implementation partners and company finance teams to design solutions. Present options, explain trade-offs, and make recommendations on configuration vs. customization vs. integration. Ensure solutions fit business needs without over-engineering.
Technical Standards & Best Practices: Establish NetSuite standards and best practices across all implementations. Define how we handle common scenarios: multi-subsidiary accounting, intercompany transactions, reporting structures, integrations. Share these standards with implementation partners.
Vendor & Partner Assessment: Evaluate implementation consultants and integration partners from a technical perspective. Assess proposals, challenge over-engineered solutions, and recommend the right vendor approach. Work as a peer with partners, not a gatekeeper.
Technical Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting: When implementation teams encounter complex technical issues, you're the escalation point. Diagnose problems, work with partners to find solutions, and make recommendations. Roll up your sleeves on troubleshooting as needed.
What We're Looking For
7-12 years of ERP implementation, solution architecture, or enterprise systems consulting experience.
Deep hands-on knowledge of NetSuite or similar enterprise systems. You understand data models, module design, reporting, integrations, and customization options.
Experience working in presales, customer-facing architecture, or consulting roles. You're comfortable with ambiguity, can present design options, and work through technical trade-offs with customers.
Strong technical design judgment. You can evaluate trade-offs between configuration, customization, integration, and process change. You make decisions based on business value, not technical elegance.
Clear communication across technical and non-technical audiences. You can explain why design decisions matter and discuss trade-offs with partners, finance teams, and executives.
Collaborative work style. You're a peer to consultants and partners, not a manager or gatekeeper. You push back on over-engineering but listen when partners flag real constraints.
Willing and able to be hands-on. You're an individual contributor who troubleshoots problems, reviews implementation details, and supports execution directly.
Nice to Have
You worked as a Solution Architect or senior consultant at a NetSuite partner or Big 4 consulting firm.
You have presales or customer-facing architecture experience. You've done customer presentations, product demonstrations, and collaborative design work.
You have experience in multi-subsidiary, holding company, or acquisition-heavy environments.
You have designed NetSuite solutions for multiple companies or customers.
You have NetSuite certifications or demonstrated expertise in configuration, customization, and advanced module design.
