We are searching for the best talent for Field Service Engineer – Electrophysiology based in Seoul.

Key Responsibilities

Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable company policies, procedures, and compliance standards, this position will:

• Provide onsite and remote technical support for Biosense Webster products through customer-facing service activities and technical support channels.
• Install, configure, maintain, repair, and upgrade equipment within assigned territories.
• Support preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and system performance optimization activities.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and resolve equipment issues to ensure reliable system performance and minimize downtime.
• Respond to customer inquiries and emergency service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide technical support and guidance to physicians, nurses, biomedical engineers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure a high level of service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Manage customer expectations before, during, and after service interactions.
• Monitor equipment performance, service trends, complaint history, and parts utilization to identify improvement opportunities.
• Analyze service-related data and implement corrective and preventive actions to enhance customer experience and operational performance.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within service management systems, including work orders, service reports, and related records.
• Process equipment returns and other service-related activities in accordance with company procedures.
• Manage allocated inventory, spare parts, equipment assets, and required audit activities.
• Act as a customer advocate by communicating customer needs and service-related issues to internal business partners.
• Support incident investigations and quality improvement initiatives as required.
• Complete all required product, technical, compliance, and safety training programs.
• Collaborate effectively with commercial, clinical, marketing, and other cross-functional partners to support business objectives.
• Follow Johnson & Johnson Health Care Compliance standards, company policies, and all applicable health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support business and customer needs.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Electrophysiology, Cardiology, Medical Devices, Healthcare Technology, Hospital Biomedical Engineering, Field Service, or a related technical or clinical support role.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Korean and business-level English.
• Strong organizational and customer relationship management skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
• Basic computer and technical diagnostic skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of service management systems.
• Experience using standard electronic testing equipment, including digital multimeters.
  

Working Conditions

• Office/Field time approximately 25%/75%.
• Ability to travel on short notice as required to support customer and business needs.
• Ability to operate a company vehicle with an appropriate driver’s license.
• Ability to work weekends and “off hours” as needed to support customer and business needs.
• Heavy lifting of equipment and excessive standing, lifting, and bending will be required. May be required to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety devices as required.
• Respect and apply safety rules and procedures.
• Maintains healthcare vendor credentialing as an employee for BWI.
