We are excited to announce an opening for a Medical Receptionist Lead. The Medical Receptionist Lead owns complex front office and patient support workflows that require deep knowledge of scheduling, documentation, communication, and care center operations. Serves as the escalation point for difficult patient access issues, coordinates workflow quality across the team, and supports implementation of process changes that improve service, accuracy, and operational effectiveness. Medical Receptionist Lead is a recognized specialist who owns day-to-day process operations and serves as the escalation point for the most complex issues within the clinical support function. Decisions impact results for the department or business unit. This job synthesizes information across systems to resolve operational issues, recommends improvements to leadership, and trains and reviews the work of other support staff without holding direct reports.

How will you make an impact & Requirements

Key Responsibilities
• Manage complex patient access, scheduling, documentation, and front office workflow issues that require research across systems and teams.
• Serve as a primary resource for advanced clinical support processes, including escalations, work queue management, and workflow troubleshooting.
• Review front office work for accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and adherence to established procedures.
• Train and support other staff on patient support workflows, system use, documentation standards, and patient communication practices.
• Recommend process changes to improve patient access, front office efficiency, data quality, and service consistency.
• Coordinate with care center leadership, providers, clinical staff, billing, referrals, and other teams to resolve operational barriers.
• Support implementation of new procedures, workflow changes, system updates, or care center initiatives within the clinical support area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED). 
• 1+ year of experience in clerical, customer service, or healthcare office settings preferred. 
• Basic knowledge of EHR systems and Microsoft Office applications preferred. 
• Strong attention to detail, interpersonal communication, and time-management skills. 
• Demonstrated professionalism and commitment to patient confidentiality. 
• Demonstrates empathy and professionalism when interacting with patients and families. 
• Adheres to HIPAA and privacy standards in all communications and record handling. 
• Consistently meets expectations, follows direction, and maintains punctuality. 
• Adjusts to changing workflows and patient volume with composure and teamwork. 
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Compensation Range:

$20.90

to

$31.35

 

The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
