Medical Assistant III (CMA/RMA) – Full Time

Location: 4130 Tamiami Trail, Suite 102, Port Charlotte, FL 33952 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM (varies by provider)

Pay Range: $20–$23/hr

Experience Required: 2–3 years Primary Care MA experience

About the Role We’re seeking an experienced Medical Assistant III (CMA/RMA) to provide advanced clinical and administrative support in a high‑volume care setting. This full‑time role supports a team of six providers, each seeing approximately 20–25 patients per day. You’ll work independently on more complex assignments, support clinic flow, and ensure consistent, high‑quality patient care and documentation.This position is ideal for a Medical Assistant with strong primary care experience, confidence in labs and injections, and the ability to anticipate provider needs in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage patient rooming, intake, visit preparation, and documentation workflows for routine and non‑routine visits
• Support complex clinic flow by anticipating provider needs and resolving workflow barriers
• Perform and document point‑of‑care testing, specimen handling, medication support, and clinical tasks with accuracy
• Review charts, care gaps, standing orders, and visit readiness to support efficient provider encounters
• Support quality gap closure, care gap outreach, workflow pilots, and documentation improvement initiatives
• Provide subject‑matter guidance to newer staff on clinical procedures, EHR workflows, and safety practices
• Investigate and resolve non‑routine clinical support issues (documentation discrepancies, supply issues, patient flow delays)
• Maintain readiness of exam rooms, equipment, and clinical supplies
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and site standards
• Collaborate with providers and care teams to support coordinated, patient‑centered care

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA)
• 2–3 years of Primary Care MA experience required
• Strong skills in labs, injections, vitals, and clinical workflows
• Experience supporting high‑volume provider schedules
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills
• Reliable, detail‑oriented, and committed to patient‑centered care

Compensation Range:

$19.80

to

$29.70

 

The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
