ChristianaCare is looking for a Medical Assistant II to join their Plastic Surgery team.

Our surgeons provide comprehensive, patient-centered care across breast reconstruction, head and neck reconstruction, and complex trauma reconstruction, using advanced surgical techniques and a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach. Work Schedule:

• Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30p

Duties / Responsibilities:

The Medical Assistant II ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care, assists providers during virtual and in-person appointments, and acts as a leader and mentor to office staff to promote effective workflow and team collaboration.

Position Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or GED required.

• A graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program and hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

• Two years’ experience as a Medical Assistant, is required, three years’ is preferred.
