ChristianaCare Wilmington Adult Medicine is located in Wilmington, Delaware. A fast-paced, mission-driven academic practice where you’ll play a critical role in supporting both patient care and the next generation of providers. In this resident-supported setting, no two days are the same—you will partner with attending physicians, rotating residents, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care to a diverse patient population. The role requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to confidently manage complexity, while supporting clinical flow, coordinating care, and ensuring accurate documentation across multiple providers.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, obtaining vitals, supporting patient education and follow-up, and adapting to changing schedules and priorities. Duties / Responsibilities:

The Medical Assistant I greets and supports patients virtually and in person, prepares them for visits, performs basic clinical tasks (e.g., testing, injections, EKGs), assists with exams, and maintains exam rooms and equipment. They manage EMR updates, patient communications, referrals, authorizations, and scheduling, while handling clerical duties, troubleshooting video visits, and supporting patient portal access.

Position Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• A graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
