Millennium Physician Group is seeking to hire a full-time float Medical Assistant to join the team in our Tampa Florida region. We are looking for a new team member who is positive, energetic, and well-organized, can multi-task, and think outside of the box. We want someone who supports our top initiative of ensuring excellent patient care and customer service.

As a Medical Assistant you will be directly involved in the care for our patients. You will be responsible for top notch Patient Experience for every patient that walks into the office. You will be assisting in examination and treatment of patients under direction of the Physician, ARNP or PA by collecting patient vitals, medical histories, administering diagnostic testing, performing basic medical procedures, entering data in the electronic health records, and any other tasks required to give the best patient care.

Millennium will provide you with ample training. New hire training will include training both in a classroom setting and hands-on training. We will introduce and walk you through our Electronic Health Records systems, referral processes, our Patient Portal, and everything you will need to know to be a successful team member!

Required Knowledge and Experience

• Completed a Medical Assisting Program/Completion of Certification or Registration
• CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to type at minimum 40 WPM
• All certification received, e.g. CMA, CPR, BLS, etc. must be kept current

Compensation Range:

$18.00

to

$27.00

 

The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
