We are seeking a proactive, strategic, and hands-on Marketing and Commercial Strategy Director to drive sales and growth, elevate our brands and positioning, and foster collaboration across our diverse markets. You will lead a talented marketing and communications team in a fast-paced, complex environment, crafting and executing multi-channel marketing and communication strategies that elevate our brand locally.

Based in Mexico City (Torre Mayor), this hybrid role requires a minimum of three days per week in the office

What can you expect?

As a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, you will develop a marketing and sales strategy for Marsh and Mercer Mexico, with a disciplined execution, balancing priorities with operational excellence and agility. Collaborating  Working closely with business leaders and global Centers of Excellence, you will deliver impactful, measurable campaigns  actions that nurture client relationships, elevate our voice in the market, expand market share and support revenue growth. Your role will encompass both direct and indirect team leadership, ensuring alignment and high performance across functions.

We will count on you to:

• Develop and implement integrated marketing, internal, and external communication strategies that support regional growth, brand positioning, and client engagement, aligned with global and local priorities.
• Lead digital marketing initiatives focused on lead generation, content production, and brand positioning that deliver measurable leads through CRM-driven campaigns, moving beyond traditional relationship marketing.
• Drive close alignment between marketing and sales teams, partnering on product and sales strategies to maximize commercial impact and revenue growth.
• Oversee multi-product, multi-service, and multi-channel marketing efforts, including consulting and insurance lines, adapting strategies to diverse sales models.
• Manage reputation and client-first approaches in all marketing activities, including public relations and brand positioning strategies developed in collaboration with PR teams.
• Foster collaboration across sales, leadership, and subject matter experts, building consensus and aligning priorities among diverse stakeholders.
• Cultivate a high-performing, innovative team culture and act as a brand ambassador.
• Manage budgets, optimize operational workflows, and assess processes to ensure efficiency and impact.
• Connect cross-business opportunities, including with Oliver Wyman and Guy Carpenter, to leverage synergies.
• Navigate complex organizational structures with strong interpersonal communication skills.

What you need to have:

• 15+ years of progressive marketing and sales leadership experience in B2B, complex organizations or rapidly growing enterprises, preferably with experience in companies similar to Marsh.
• Proven senior-level leadership managing both direct and indirect reports.
• Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing, lead generation, content creation, and positioning that produces measurable leads via CRM-driven campaigns.
• Experience leading or closely partnering with sales on marketing and product strategies.
• Strong public relations and brand positioning experience, with the ability to define and execute strategic positioning.
• Ability to manage multiple products, services, and channels, including consulting and insurance lines.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating with senior leadership.
• Results-oriented, adaptable, and passionate about driving client value and growth.
• Excellent English communication skills are essential.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced marketing or business qualifications preferred
