What is the opportunity?

The Manager, Liquidity Risk Measurement is a key member of the Corporate Treasury liquidity center of expertise, responsible for measurement, analysis, and reporting of RBC's consolidated liquidity position. This role is critical to RBC's overall liquidity risk management capability, supporting regulatory compliance and management decision-making. You'll lead liquidity metrics production, conduct treasury analysis and forecasting, and enhance the organization's liquidity measurement capability by working closely with Corporate Treasury teams globally and regional business partners.

What will you do?

• Prepare monthly liquidity metrics reports (including Liquidity Coverage Ratio), perform data validation, and conduct analysis of liquidity position and trends
• Analyze short-term and long-term balance sheet dynamics; update liquidity forecasts and projections in alignment with Corporate Treasury objectives
• Liaise with internal partners to explain liquidity metrics drivers and support informed decision-making across the organization
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly liquidity reports and analytical summaries for management and business partners
• Ensure liquidity metric calculations comply with the liquidity risk measurement governance framework; support auditor and regulator reviews
• Monitor regulatory changes to LCR calculations; manage and validate system implementation of liquidity measurement updates
• Coordinate with Corporate Treasury teams globally to align on liquidity analysis, reporting, and process improvements
• Design and improve existing controls; enhance process efficiency across liquidity measurement and treasury operations
• Act as subject matter expert on liquidity metrics; manage stakeholder relationships and provide business-critical treasury insights

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have

• 3+ years experience with financial and/or regulatory reporting in financial institutions
• Strong understanding of bank balance sheet, products, and business operations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a track record of delivering evidence-based solutions
• Knowledge of VBA and basic SQL functions (joins, select)
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality; effective collaborator in consultative environments
• Self-motivated professional who takes ownership and drives results with minimal direction
• Principled decision-maker who demonstrates integrity and sound independent judgment

Nice to Have

• Professional designation: CPA or CFA
• Knowledge of risk management tools, techniques, and liquidity risk frameworks
• Conversant with Basel III and other regulatory developments related to liquidity risk management
