About the Team

The Leasing Team sits within CoreWeave’s Corporate Accounting organization and is responsible for the end-to-end accounting of CoreWeave’s growing lease portfolio. Our team partners closely with Legal, FP&A, Operations, and Treasury to evaluate complex contracts, identify embedded leases in Network Service Agreements, and ensure proper accounting treatment under US GAAP. As CoreWeave scales its global infrastructure footprint at an extraordinary pace, this team is central to maintaining accounting integrity and building the scalable processes and controls our business demands.

Key Responsibilities:

As Manager of the Leasing Team, you will lead a team of senior accountants and own the end-to-end accounting for CoreWeave’s lease portfolio under ASC 842. You will oversee the review of Network Service Agreements and complex contracts for embedded leases, manage month-end close, drive cross-functional collaboration, and build processes that can scale with CoreWeave’s accelerating growth. This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to senior finance leadership and a significant opportunity to shape the team’s capabilities and operating model.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of senior accountants focused on lease accounting
• Oversee the identification and evaluation of embedded leases within Network Service Agreements and other complex commercial contracts
• Direct and review all lease accounting processes under ASC 842, including initial recognition, remeasurement, and modification analysis
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities for the lease portfolio
• Prepare and review balance sheet and P&L analytics for lease-related accounts, providing clear variance explanations to senior stakeholders
• Partner with Legal, FP&A, Operations, and Treasury on new lease transactions, contract amendments, and new lease structures
• Drive process improvement initiatives and build scalable controls to support a rapidly growing and complex portfolio
• Manage the relationship with external auditors on lease matters; prepare and review technical accounting memos
• Support the preparation of lease-related disclosures for financial statements in accordance with US GAAP

Qualifications: 

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with substantial focus on lease accounting or technical accounting
• Deep working knowledge of ASC 842 (Leases) and demonstrated experience applying it to complex contract structures
• Experience managing or mentoring accounting professionals
• CPA required, or actively pursuing CPA licensure
• Proven ability to identify embedded leases and apply the appropriate accounting treatment to complex data center, colocation, or similar service agreements
• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to present technical accounting conclusions to senior finance leaders and auditors
• Proficiency with ERP systems and lease accounting software (e.g., CoStar, NetSuite, or similar)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; advanced degree a plus

Preferred Skills:

Public accounting experience at a Big 4 or large regional firmExperience with complex lease structures, sale-leaseback transactions, or similar technical accounting areasBackground in technology, cloud infrastructure, data center, or real estate industries

The base salary range for this role is $115,000 to $153,000.  The starting salary will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and the market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).
