Who are we hiring?
The Manager, HR Business Partner (HRBP) will play an essential role in driving operational excellence by aligning HR strategies with business objectives for Sphere Venue Operations and other business units. The Manager partners closely with business leaders to deliver scalable and creative HR solutions that augment efficiency, support employee performance and enhance the overall employee experience. This role will report to the Director HRBP and will lead business partners to drive key initiatives across performance management, employee relations, compliance, and workforce analytics, while collaborating with HR Centers of Excellence (COE) to streamline processes and ensure consistent, high-impact support throughout the employee lifecycle.
What will you do?
· Serve as a trusted strategic partner to leaders and employees by providing proactive human resources guidance that drives business objectives, strengthens organizational effectiveness, and fosters a high performing and inclusive culture.
· Practice proactive and progressive human resource management while prioritizing time sensitive business needs and executing accordingly.
· Partner with leaders to implement consistent performance management practices that align with company values, clarify expectations, and strengthen organizational accountability.
· Provide knowledgeable, interactive and prompt counsel on complex employee relations issues, conflict resolution, organizational design/structure and critical employee lifecycle moments to support a productive and sustainable high-performing workplace culture.
· Partner with leadership and business support teams to administer grievance and labor relations processes, providing guidance on contract interpretation, issue resolution, and compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
· Ensure accuracy and integrity of employee data by driving consistent follow-through, process adherence, and productivity through HR administrative support.
· Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (COE) to embed innovation, efficiency, and simplification into core HR processes, proactively identifying and implementing improvements that elevate the employee experience.
· Partner with COEs in compensation, benefits, employee relations and services, talent acquisition, communications, and learning & development to deliver seamless support across all phases of the employee lifecycle for designated business divisions.
· Leverage and activate HR data and analytics to uncover insights, inform decisions, and support ongoing business performance and workforce planning.
· Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of employment laws and internal policies, ensuring compliance and consistency across supported business areas.
· Optimize efficiencies and streamlined efforts to drive and implement change and support a strong infrastructure.
· Drive employee engagement, onboarding, and retention strategies to enhance the employee experience and support organizational success.
· Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site
What do you need to succeed?
· 5+ years of experience in Human Resources management or related field of work
· Demonstrated resilience and adaptability in fast-paced, high-pressure environment, effectively partnering with leaders to navigate complex employee matters and evolving business priorities.
· Knowledge of HR disciplines including performance management, employee relations, talent development, compensation, compliance, and change management.
· Demonstrated labor relations experience, including interpreting and administering collective bargaining agreements, managing union relationships, participating in contract negotiations, handling grievances, and ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws
· Capable of influencing at all levels, building trust with stakeholders and maintaining confidentiality.
· Adept at relationship-building, collaboration, and conflict resolution.
· Strategic thinker with a proven ability and interest for hands-on execution
· Approachable and thoughtful collaborator with the ability to inspire employees at all levels into action; empathetic and a strong sense of self-awareness
· Comfortable working autonomously and able to demonstrate proactivity in identifying and addressing potential challenges and implementing timely and effective remedial action
· Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced, dynamic environment
· Demonstrates integrity, tact, diplomacy and a commitment to company values and mission in addition to key HR guiding principles.
· Strong verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills. Effective active listening skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Strong experience in developing and executing effective change management strategy.
· Thorough knowledge of employment-related state and federal laws and regulations.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

· Occasional travel to venues and various office locations as needed.
