Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer with over 10 years of expertise in creating intuitive, visually compelling, and highly functional user interfaces. You will play a critical role in shaping the digital experience for our users by designing seamless interactions and interfaces for web and mobile platforms. Experience in an Insurance or Financial institution is preferred, but not essential.

S/he will also collaborate to define and advocate best XD practices, principles and standards across the Asia business units (BUs), and align these to design teams within the Global Asia Digital Enterprise structures as well as to Asia-wide design groups (in addition to providing hands on support for customer journey mapping as well as UX wire flows and wireframes).

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in both UX research and UI design, a passion for solving complex problems, and a keen eye for detail.


In this role, a projection of the responsibilities can be articulated as such:

• As a contributing UI/UX Practitioner – will be able to both practice and advocate the Design Thinking framework and process for divergent and convergent ideation Business teams and stakeholders alike. The candidate will also be able to identify user pain points via heuristic analysis and design research to create customer journey maps (and service blueprints where necessary) - as a foundation for the associated UX wire flows and low fidelity wireframes for digital web/app-based product development. Previous experience in UI design and prototyping would also be useful but is not essential.
   
• As an UX Researcher – who will be facilitating (via user studies interviews and workshops either directly or via a 3rd party agency), participating in, and delivering research deliverables on user groups (such as Advisors, Clients, and Prospective customers) to drive better insights for design execution and product evolution.

As a senior position, in addition to having core experience competency in UX/UI, this role also requires an understanding of Client Experience and Service Design practices, In addition to design research, Design Thinking, journey mapping and experience analysis/digital analytics.

Consideration for this role will require a design research and experience design portfolio review and presentation.
