As a Gen AI Engineer Associate you will support the design and development of data and AI solutions that turn raw data into actionable insights for clients, with a focus on exploratory analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization within our Data, Analytics & AI practice. As an Associate you will contribute in a learning-focused role by taking ownership of assigned tasks, adapting to different client needs and team environments, asking questions, and building technical skills while delivering dependable work. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will develop your understanding of data science and data and analytics engineering work, support project delivery across a range of use cases, and build commercial awareness while refining your professional brand.

Responsibilities

- Supporting data science and generative AI project tasks across client engagements and internal initiatives
- Applying machine learning, statistical analysis, and natural language processing techniques to solve business problems
- Assisting in the development, testing, and refinement of data models, pipelines, and analytical workflows
- Gathering and organizing data from multiple sources for exploratory analysis and insight development
- Using programming languages and digital tooling to prepare, clean, and transform data for analysis
- Documenting methods, findings, and technical outputs for review by senior team members
- Contributing to the design of AI driven automation solutions that improve data use and decision making
- Collaborating across teams to adapt to changing priorities, client needs, and project scopes

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 2 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Programming, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Systems Engineering
- Demonstrating coursework or project work in generative AI, machine learning, or data science
- Applying Python, SQL, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn in academic or internship settings
- Analyzing data patterns and translating findings into clear recommendations
- Adapting quickly in client-facing, fast-paced team environments
- Communicating ideas clearly, listening actively, and asking thoughtful questions
